The moment when your wall broke
The one you built up
Over the course of your life.
Preparing for that cannon,
To knock it down all at once.
Instead it was torn down
Little by little.
Broken by those you love,
The ones you no longer trust
The ones who you once
Would trade anything for.
Do you recall the moment
The demons flood
Into your beautiful, innocent mind?
I remember the moment
When a devil in disguise
Walked into my life,
The moment it was all over.
