One minute you say
"I love you,
I want things to work"
And the next your telling me
That you've found somebody new.
What kind of a man are you?
The kind to con people
Into your tricky little games.
Telling me I'm worthless,
All because I was born different
And my bones don't function
The same as yours
Was an asshole move.
Our relationship meant nothing
For you, after all
You moved on quicker
Than a lightning bolt
Striking the ground,
But you hit with a greater impact.
All of the late nights,
All the days I spent caring more
About the boy thousands of miles away
Have been dumped
Into a bottomless abyss
The impact you have left on me
Leaves me shattered
Searching blindly
Through the never ending labyrinth
Finding every tiny shard of my heart
That I can find.
I know that pieces
Will always be missing,
Those are pieces
I give to you.
I give you these
To remember me by when she breaks you.
I don't want them back,
Never again.
