I woke up to Steve laying on me. I smiled and played with his hair.
I felt him start to wake. He sighed and kissed my neck softly. "Good morning." He whispered.
"Morning." I said.
He got up, leaving me cold. I whined softly.
"Steve." I whined.
"I have duties today Everly." He said. I gave him a look.
He sighed and kissed my head. "I'll be in the meeting room." He said as he put his clothes on.
"But..."
"Ev. I have to go sweetheart." He said. I sighed.
"Alright." I said.
"Goodbye." He said as he left. I sighed and moved out of bed.
Steve had been working hard here in D.C. This also left me to just hang out around my childhood kingdom.
I got ready for the day. I drank my tea that helps with my fertility, and went to my sisters chambers.
I wanted to see Natasha. I needed to speak with her.
I still felt off about everything, and I needed her guidance.
"Sister." I said as I knocked on the door. I heard fumbling.
"What?" She snapped.
"Oh- I'm sorry I'll come back later." I said. I quickly left the corridor.
I decided to go find Steve in the meeting room. I saw him talking to a knight. I smiled in the doorway. He looked at me before back at the knight.
He shook the knights hand before calling me in.
"Dear I'm extremely busy. What do you need?" He asked. Someone came in and had him sign something.
"I was just wondering if you wanted to go to that pond I spoke of. I was going to take my horse out." I said.
"Rain check. Maybe another time. And it's freezing." He said. I nodded softly.
"Alright."
"Oh and Everly. I would like to try tonight if you've had your tea like you're supposed to." He said.
I nodded softly. "I have. Very well." I said. I walked out and went straight for the stables.
I found my horse, Hugo. I got him set up before getting on him and going for a ride.
I had my cloak on. I couldn't be seen by many. Not that there were many people in the fields.
I also didn't want people to see if I was upset.
Somehow I didn't even feel right in my own kingdom. This is my home.
I got off my horse and tied him to a tree. I fed him a few carrots before grabbing my bow and arrow. I had a specific tree in these pastures to shoot at.
I checked my stance before pulling my bow back. I released my arrow, dead on.
Something about shooting while I was angry made me better. I felt like I was shooting away my problems. It was therapeutic.

After hours of practicing, I decided to go in.
It was getting dark. I had done everything in the books from shooting, to resting, to going to the pond. I knew supper was just about to be served, and someone was going to be mad that I wasn't there yet.
I got back to the stalls and made sure my horse was comfortable. I fed him before going to my chambers to clean up. I put on a new dress and made sure my hair was alright.
