That's all that was running through my mind as I ran across Hyrule Field towards Hyrule Castle, dodging guardian lasers as I went. I could still see that guiding light in the tower, the shining of Hylia's gift, my princess. I had left her waiting too long, as her light began to flicker and slowly fade.
I'm coming princess, just hold out a little longer.

I was finally at the gates and threw them open, only to be met with a silver lynel charging full speed at me.
FUCK I DON"T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!
I had to run, I had to go faster. I didn't have time to fight it. As I tried to run past it, the lynel shot me in the leg. I fell to the ground in agony, but I had to keep going.
Get UP you idiot!!!! SHE NEEDS YOU, STOP BEING WEAK. YOU'VE WASTED ENOUGH TIME ALREADY GET UP!!!
I willed myself to get up and keep going. The lynel seemed to stop pursing me, thinking I was too injured, too easy prey. Maybe it thought that I would die anyway. To be honest, even I thought I would die. I looked up at the cathedral...her light was fading fast. I couldn't run, I couldn't go as fast as I needed. But I still pressed on. I dodged guardian lasers, and stayed out of sight of the many lynels that plagued the castle. Finally I reached the cathedral of the castle.
It's now or never.

Who was speaking to me, the voice was too soft to be considered Ganon's.

"ZELDA I'M HERE, DON'T WORRY IT'LL BE ALRIGHT!!!" I screamed, but I got no response. My heart was pounding, but I couldn't tell if it was from the upcoming battle, or fear that my princess may be lost to this world forever.
