She looked like an angel in that beautiful dress, so confident and her aura so mysterious like I have never felt. He thought to himself. He had never experienced this......it was a new experience for him. Was it so called the "Love at first sight"...
Everybody was ready for the day and the guests were pouring in while the family was busy attending them. So many gifts and fruits were brought by their relatives and friends. Almost a whole room was filled with sweets, alcohol, gold, antiques, fruits and other stuff. They were all smiles and laughter.
After attending every guest, it was almost evening so they had to get ready for pooja.
"Viraj jaldi karo, sab neeche wait kar rahe honge" Leher said looking herself in the mirror one last time.

After pandit ji finished the pooja, VK went forward for the arti just like every other diwali. Then after moving the thali in circular motion infront of Lakshmi ma's idol. After doing it few times, he handed the thali to the eldest son and daughter-in-law.
They held it together with one hand each, symbolising that they are one. Two people who complete each other.
They then passed it to the second couple ( Aradhya and Madhav ) and it went on to the newly married- Leher and Viraj and at last the three bachelor brothers.
After the pooja and distribution of prasaad, dinner was served. All the females of the family prepared ladoo, kaju barfi and cupcakes as a tradition which was going on from a long time. Rest of the food was prepared by chefs just as regular.
They had stomach filling delicious food and afterwards, sweets made by the lakshmis of the house. After the dinner, they exchanged gifts. Everyone was laughing and happy smiles were on every face except Viraj. He got gifts from everyone besides Leher. He was confused since she gave it to everyone, just not him. When their eyes met. Leher said "Sorry Viraj, mai apka gift bhul gayi" and just smiled casually. Viraj replied with "Koi baat nahi, you are enough for me" and handed Leher's gift to her. She knew he was disappointed and was just trying to cover up so that she doesn't feel bad.
After dinner, Aryan cribbed that he wanted to burn crackers. He along with the other two older brothers went to the lawn. Karan pulled Leher out and went there running so that they don't miss on any fun. Viraj pulled his phone out of his pocket hoping that they would tag him along. But when around 10 minutes passed by and no one came, he was surprised and a bit sad. "Leher kya ayi mujhe toh jaise bhul hi gaye. Leher bhi mera gift bhul gayi aur mere bhai bhi mujhe chor gaye." He thought while frowning a little. Rest of the family saw him sulking like a child, which was a rare sight to see so they also took advantage and started teasing him a bit. "Aere re Viraj, tujhe toh bhul hi gaye wo. tstststs" Aradhya said and everyone chuckled. He gave them a side eye and left the table saying "Aere aisi koi baat nahi hai. Ab mai vaise bhi bada ho chuka hu, in bacho ke sath kya hi karunga"
