"Are you okay?" Jay pulled her to a corner of the bar before Sunghoon cleaned the shattered glass on the floor. She felt bad, but her thoughts were still all over the place and she couldn't think straight. "It's okay, breathe." He held her gently by the shoulders, guiding her to lean against the wall for support. The noise and chaos of the bar faded into the background as he focused on her, his eyes searching hers for any sign of distress.

She felt a knot forming in her stomach. Her gaze shifted to the shattered glass on the floor, making her even more aware of the mess she had unintentionally caused. And guilt washed over her, making it hard for her to find the right words. "I'm sorry."

He tilted his head, his glasses perched on the bridge of his nose as he gave her a reassuring smile and he ruffled her hair. "It's your first day, it's fine to make mistakes." He said in an attempt to cheer her up and she slightly nodded, appreciating it. "Are you hurt?"

She shook her head, thankful that she wasn't physically injured. "You're... the boss?"

Jay looked away in embarrassment, his tongue lightly grazing his lower lip. His hand reached for the back of his neck and Y/N noticed how he did that whenever he was talking to her. "Well, technically, I am the owner of this place," He admitted sheepishly. "But I'm also your friend, and right now, I'm more concerned about how you're feeling."

"I appreciate that," She slightly bowed, trying to express how grateful she was. "I'm just... shaken up, I guess."

"Take it easy, okay?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief, offering it to her. "Here, use this to wipe your hands. It might help you feel better."

"Thank you." She smiled as she took the handkerchief, their hands briefly touching, making them stop. It felt almost as if the world stopped when the two of them stared into each other's eyes, until he cleared his throat and looked away.

"We should go back to work." He said, his voice slightly strained and she just watched as he adjusted his glasses. "Please put up with this just for today, and when Harin comes tomorrow, you'll only be in charge of the stocks..." His words faded into the background as her eyes drifted to the guy called Sungho. She kept staring at him and pointing out the differences between him and her Sungho.

Sungho's hair was a dark brown, and his eyes too. His smile was beautiful and whenever he smiled, his eyes smiled too. Blue was his favorite color, especially navy because Y/N loved the ocean and it reminded him of her. He was always carrying her love with him, and she realized that no other guy would be like him. There was only him but he's gone now. The Sungho she loved so much left her world, or rather, the world collapsed around her because he was her whole world.

"Y/N?" Jay called again, frowning before she looked back at him with slightly raised eyebrows. "Are you okay?"

"Yes." The ghost of a smile she gave him made him question if she was indeed alright, but he didn't voice it out. Instead, he smiled back and gave her an encouraging pat on the back. But when he turned around, Y/N could swear he stole a glance at the guy called Sungho, and at first, she had no idea why he did. But when memories of last night replayed in her mind, the realization hit her.

Jay knew about the name Sungho. She cried and called his name, and when she thought that it was him who was lying next to her, she kissed him and hugged him as if he'd vanish away if she lets go of him. It was only a matter of time before his curiosity grows and he asks her about it. But for now, she couldn't really talk about it, thinking about it and remembering it was painful enough that she decided to keep it to herself.

It was good that way, though, because no one would pity her and look at her as if she was dying. It was Sungho who died, not her.

"You okay?" Sunghoon walked to her when she was staring blankly at Jay. "Do you like him?"
