Jay spent that night with Y/N, wrapped in each other's arms, making up for all the lost time and missed moments. They talked, laughed, and rediscovered the little quirks and habits that made them fall in love in the first place.

Y/N got to know about Sunghoo and Sunoo getting together. She always knew the two of them had something going on, and she was glad that they had found happiness with each other. It was heartwarming to see love blooming all around her. Heeseung, on the other hand, wasn't that rude anymore. Jay said that he started working on his trust issues and whatever his heartbreak had caused.

Harin met a guy and she seemed to be head over heels in love. He told her about how everyone teased her and called her a hopeless romantic, but she wore that title proudly now.

His bar was now managed by Heeseung along with Sunghoon and Heran and Y/N couldn't help but want to go back to work there. It was a place where she had some of her fondest memories with Jay, from making drinks together to standing in a corner and whispering sweet nothings in each other's ears while the world partied around them.

With the first rays of the morning sun peeking over the horizon, Jay turned to Y/N and said, "You know, I missed this so much."

She looked at him, her eyes filled with affection. "Missed what, Jay?"

"Us," He replied, his morning voice making her heart skip a beat. "Just being here with you, waking up next to you, and knowing that we have all the time in the world to be together." Jay never asked her why she blocked him or why she pushed him away, yet he asked her to let him love her which made her realize how much this man truly cared for her and loved her.

She smiled, her fingers brushing the hair off his forehead. "You never asked me why I blocked you." Her words clearly didn't carry any bitterness or resentment, and they made him feel like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

He reached up to gently caress her cheek, his thumb tracing the curve of her lips. "I didn't need to ask, Y/N. I didn't need to know the reasons. All that mattered to me was finding my way back to you. I knew that if we were meant to be together, we would find our way back. And here we are, together at last."

"Jay, you're too good for me." With a contented sigh, Y/N nestled closer to Jay, their bodies entwined, and their hearts beating in sync. "The grief was just overwhelming and I wasn't thinking straight... people perhaps expected me to grieve Sungho forever so I felt like I was doing something wrong by loving you. And I knew you deserved a love that wasn't held back by guilt or fear. I thought you'd be better off without me."

Jay gently brushed his lips against her forehead, leaving a lingering kiss. "Y/N, you are the love of my life. I've waited for you, and I'll keep waiting for you. I can never be better off without you because you are my better half, my sunshine, and my heart. Whoever says otherwise is simply mistaken. I don't care what anyone else thinks or expects because I know I love you and that's all I need to know. I'm yours, sunshine, and I always will be."

That morning, when the two stepped into the office, Y/N had the biggest on her face. She didn't want to let her colleagues know about her and Jay so they decided to keep acting like a project manager and a team leader, nothing more. But they still stole glances at each other when they thought no one was looking, exchanging secret smiles that spoke volumes of the love they shared. It was their little secret, the one only the two of them understood.

"Jay," She called, making her way towards him while he waited for her next to his car. The two agreed to meet a little away from the company, where no one could see them. Jay turned to face her, a soft smile on his lips.

"Sunshine," His arms opened wide as Y/N approached him. She walked into his embrace, fitting perfectly against his chest, feeling the warmth of his love. "What's up?"

"I'm invited to a wedding tomorrow and my friend said I should bring a date." She muttered, trying to suppress a smile. "I mean, if you're up to it."

"Sunshine, you're asking me to be your date? And you're taking me to a wedding?" Jay's eyes lit up with delight while he wrapped his arms around her even tighter. "I wanna be your date. That's like a dream come true. You're making all my romantic fantasies come to life."

Y/N chuckled softly, her fingers playing with the buttons of his shirt. "It's just a wedding, Jay."

He raised an eyebrow and scoffed playfully. "Just a wedding? But I'm going with the most beautiful woman I've ever met, and that makes it anything but 'just a wedding.'" Then he smiled and all her worries seemed to melt away. His presence had a way of making her at ease.

And when the next day arrived and it was time for the wedding, she stood in front of the mirror, fixing her hair and adjusting her dress. Jay was going to be there at any moment to pick her up and she couldn't help but feel excited to see his reaction about her dress. She had carefully chosen an elegant dress, a deep emerald that complemented her eyes and hugged her curves just right.

The soft knocking on the door made her hold her dress and rush to the door, opening it to reveal Jay, looking like he walked straight out of a fashion magazine. His eyes widened in awe as he took in her appearance and a slow, appreciative smile crept onto his lips. "Wow," He breathed, his eyes locked onto hers. "You look absolutely stunning, sunshine. I mean, you always do, but today... wow. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world right now."

Her eyes lit up and when he pulled out a bouquet of flowers from behind his back, she gasped in delight. "You got me flowers? Why?" She took the bouquet and inhaled the sweet scent of the flowers, staring at him with eyes that could melt even the coldest of hearts.

"Why not?" Jay was the type of person to love so deeply. He didn't have one love language, he had all of them. To him, loving someone meant expressing it in every possible way. "I thought they'd look beautiful in your hands."

And loving Y/N was the most natural and beautiful thing in the world for him.
