Katie's POV
*Intro*
I have been stuck in this maze for almost 2 years now and we haven't found any way close to getting out until this shuckface named a Thomas came and began to screw everything up. I am a builder and my best friend, Gally, hate Thomas just as much as I do. We have assigned Thomas as a runner and Gally has become so pissed. Okay back to present day.

*today*

Thomas has convinced more than half of our gladers to go out with him into the maze to find "the way out". I think it's stupid. I'm staying with Gally no matter what, I really like him so I don't want to loose that. The day has come for when we are sacrificing Thomas and that other girl. I hate them both, they ruined our lives here, they deserve to die. We dragged them out and then suddenly Minho, Newt, Chuck, and Frypan all go to Thomas and knock out three of our guys. Then half of the glade goes with him to find a way, I stay back with Gally to protect the maze. But that's when I saw the grievers coming again. Gally grabbed me before they came and said,

"Run, Katie run and stay with Thomas." He says gently. I tear up,

"I'm not going to leave you." I say strongly. He grabs my waist and kisses me on the cheek.

"I will find a way out, just be safe." He says then disappears. My heart shatters. I turn and run into the maze trying to find th,e others. I am a slow runner but I catch up with Newt and he smiles,

"Glad you came Katie." I smile back. And we continue to run, until we saw a giant griever blocking out way. We manage to fight him off but then two more come. We don't really get to kill them but we do make it to the safe place. But I couldn't stop thinking about Gally. We open a door and walk along this long hall way and find a for with a sign on top That says,

"Exit." I giggle while everyone else groans. When we walk inside the room we see video cameras of the glade and dead bodies everywhere. I look at all the screens trying to find Gally but no one is there. We heard a band then a door began to open thinking this was the way out when we saw him,Gally. I run to his side but I'm held back by Newt.

"Katie, he's been stung." Newt says.

"Gally?!" I scream. He just stares at me. He holds a gun and points it at me, I break free of Newts grasp and run to him. I then see him raise his arm and point the gun at me but when I get to him and grab him and hug him. I look up and he looks confused so I just smile and whisper,

"I am safe. Gally I love you." Then I stand on my tippy toes and kiss him. He kisses back and grabs my waist again.

"I love you too." He says. My heart flutters and he becomes normal again. It turns out. Someone was watching us and set us free because what Gally had the whole world had. So love was the cure.

*two years later*

Me and Gally went to celebrate our two year anniversary by visiting the maze. They cleared it and Gally bought it, so that's our new home. We walked to the first place that I saw him which was in the fields. We sat down and unpacked our dinner under the stars. We talked and talked for hours and then Gally stands up.

"Katie ever since I laid my eyes on you I knew that you were the one. I tried so hard to get you close to be and you did. When I was stung I had no control over my brain and I was going to shoot you. I didn't want to look but then you hugged me and broke me out of my spell. You fixed me and I love you for that. Kaitlyn, will you give me the honor of being my wife?" He says getting on one knee. I smile and then tackle him kissing him over and over.

"Yes."

(Sorry if this was bad my brain was fried and I was out of ideas. Sorry if this wasn't romantic enough.)
