Luna got separated from her group, other than Thomas, and was constantly being pulled aside and being asked questions. So far so good, she had people laughing mentioning her favorite parts were the showers, food, and partying. After the blonde finished one interview, she walked a few steps, posed for pictures, and would get roped into another interview. Most of the interviewers complimented her dress and always asked how she felt about being the prince's number one pick. Luna decided to remain indifferent and danced around the question when she was asked.

The sound was suddenly intensified and Luna turned around, seeing the prince was making his entrance. The interviewer quickly thanked Luna and raced over to the prince. She noticed he was sporting a very nicely pressed, and fitted, Armani suit. Not a hair was out of place, and he truly looked impeccable. His golden eyes and his teeth shone in all the lights, he was definitely photogenic. Luna reminded herself of Maggie and Margaret, they were only some of his victims. She knew they also joined him in bed at nights, he always insisted.

Luna curled her lip up and walked into the ballroom. The ballroom was stunning, more crystal chandeliers dotted the ceiling, casting a dim light around the large room. The walls were lined with gold, and had portraits of royals from the past. Guards lined the room, which Thomas joined. The dance floor was packed with couples dancing, there were servers walking around, serving champagne and hor d'oeuvres. An orchestra sat in the corner of the room, a singer would occasionally sing, but most were instrumental.

Everywhere Luna's eyes looked, there were sharply dressed men and women in gorgeous dresses, jewels twinkling in the light. Luckily Jen found Luna and led her over to a table where Ren and a tall, slender, gorgeous Asain woman sat.

"Emma! This is Luna!" Ren sat her drink down and gave the blonde a hug.

"Hello, Emma! She's told me a little about you, but I'd love to get to know you!" Luna smiled at Emma, which returned her smile.

"Hello, she's told me all about you. Just so you know, I'm team Luna. You got this, and you'll outmaneuver the prince." Emma winked and Luna gushed about her sleeve of traditional Chinese tattoos. Her colorful tattoos had a koi fish with some water, there was a giant colorful bird, and a winding, angry looking dragon. Whilst the girls talk, Luna spotted the prince, and he appeared to be looking for someone.

I think the prince is looking for me. Luna mindlinked to Alec and Jen. They both spotted him and all three of them sat down. Ren and Emma quirked their eyebrows at how fast the trio moved to sit. Ren then understood and had the other members of their group surround the table standing. The redhead knew the prince would know Luna would be with Jen and Alec, she couldn't hide her all night, but she'd do her best. Emma was leaning towards Ren, and the prince walked over to her.

"Ren, it's lovely to see you found your mate. You made my choice a little easier." Prince Connor smiled at the girls who bowed their heads.

"I have indeed, your highness. This is Emma Yang, she will be coming with me after the games."

"Well congratulations. I was about to ask if you knew where Miss Carter was but I saw her. Hello, Lunalyn." Luna shuddered at how he said her name, and it wasn't from pleasure.

"Hello, your highness." Luna stood up and Connor's greedy eyes drank her in. His golden eyes trailed over her entire body, focusing on the chest and her high slit.

"I must say, you look absolutely stunning tonight, Love," Connor purred as he held his hand out for her to take. You can't deny the prince. Her fathers words echoed in her ears.

"May I have this dance?" Luna knew she had to accept, and he knew too. The smirk on his face was victorious as she took his hand, casting a look at Jen. Connor pulled Luna onto the dance floor and they slowly danced to the music.
