Chapter 5

“GAME OVER!” Two whistles sound out in the gym.

The game of comically stupid dodge ball ends, with Issei and Saji both having their balls destroyed, Alex thinks to himself that the game ended in a good way with them down. He follows Gremory’s peerage back to their clubhouse. Outside, the moon is fuller than Saji’s and Issei’s pants, and blue just like them.

The team clicks their glasses together, full of orange juice, except Alex’s, who’s full of bourbon. “Victory!” They cheered

“I want you to know, I’m thankful to each and every one of you for going out there and doing what needed to be done to beat those devils… I hope you guys feel very proud.” Rias gives her speech to the peerage.

“Hell, all I did was get knocked in the love spuds.” Issei speaks humbled for a change.

“Sure, you got nailed in the nads, but you also made these headbands… They’re pretty rad, man.”

“Totes.” Akeno says, making Alex laugh quietly.

“Yeah…! They really brought our team together!” Asia cheerfully says, Koneko nods with a smile.

Issei takes Kiba’s hands, “Thanks bro… I don’t wanna sound gay or anything, but if you were a hot chick, I’d totally make out with you right now!”

“That is the gayest thing I’ve heard from a straight guy…” Alexandre laughs and finishes his glass, “But I should get going, I need to check on my knight. I’ll see you all during school.” He waves to the peerage a goodbye and stumbles away through a magic circle.

“Um… how much did he drink?” Issei asks.

Rias shakes her head, “We don’t ask, just accept.”

Alexandre walks in a field of flowers, his stumbling grow into a more stable into a proud, straight-back strut. The flowers are bright and are only in the field surrounded by a forest, with the clouds fluffy under the bright full moon, the world is peaceful. Just the right amount of light shines into the forest.

He walks around the forest, following a wide path of rocks until he comes to another clearing. The clearing is wide; the path is in a round-a-bout around a tree stump; a shiny metal object rests on the stump. Alexandre walks up to the object, a black metal knightly helmet with two slanted eyeholes. He taps the helmet lightly and sits on the ground in front of it.

A yawn emanates from the inside, and Alex asks a simple question, “Where’s your body, did they lose you again?”

A gentle female voice speaks out from it, “Yeah… stay here for a bit, please.”

“Of course.” He sits more comfortably, “How did you sleep?”

“It was a bit cold today, but that’s what happens when you don’t have a body.” A clittering can be heard inside the helm.

Alexandre picks up helmet and unstraps the chin, he takes it off her and places her head on his lap. She has very pale skin, it collides with her raven black hair that is tied into a bun, her sapphire blue eyes stare into his amethyst. A black smoke comes from her neck, it sticks close to the decapitation. He takes off his suit jacket and raps her up.

“Thanks…” She shyly says.

Thunder booms through the forest, the skies stay soft with small clouds. The thunder gets louder, more fierious. Neighs roar through the forest as a six horse drawn Berlin carriage stops beside them in the round-a-bout. It is a polished black in color with artistic stained glass windows, all in dark colors. A purple sky with a large full crimson moon in the horizon, a gray road fades into the horizon with blue leafed trees, a purple coffin is on the road. In place of lamps, there are skulls with a purple flame inside.
