Chapter 11

“I love you!”

Elise runs out the house with intent, jumping onto and clinging on me, but her head pops off from the impact of sudden end. I lean back and catch her head, her body refusing to let go and being pulled up onto me.

“That’s- definitely new.” I told her.

Placing her down, I tuck her head back in her scarf, a strand of stray hair breaks from her bun, covering her face partially. Something in this moment, whether it was her glistening eyes, supple pink lips, or the distance we are; but she was absolute beauty. A force of unknown draws me to her face, her warm breath short as I hold her against me. Her heart beats fast in her chest, as she brushes her nose on mine, connecting us in a burst of warmth.

Her lips are smooth, almost silky, clouds of softness against my own. A hint of fruity mixtures tingle on my lips from hers, a hint that draws us closer. Lifting her, we part and gaze into each other's eyes. Her blue eyes, they dance in the light of dawn, twickle. I move in and reunite us. Her lips parted, allowing my tongue to slip inside. The warmth in my chest strengthened, stronger than anytime I’ve laid my eyes on her, my hand instinctively cups her blossomy cheek.

We part once against, and in a whisper I tell her, “I love you too…” While I didn’t want to, I knew to let her down, but that didn’t break our embrace. “... from hell to earth.”

A smirk forms on her lips, she teases, “Oh? So just a few seconds and magic?”

“I-well…” I stutter for an answer, a creeping sensation to not be the one teasing and embarrassing her. “You know- it’s a metephor! -Almost…”

She giggles in response and gets up on her toes, she pecks my cheek, a gush of warmth reaches my cheeks as she does as butterflies flutter around my head. “I know, and thank you… I’ve missed durafeld for a many.”

“It’s my fault you didn’t have it all this time, no need to thank me for it.” I cup her hands, “You are my most valuable piece, my first piece, I ask of you to become my only queen.”

Her blush deepens over her face entirety, with a studder she asks, “Q-Queen-? L-ike… marriage?”

“Well, no.” I glance to the side, “More just my most trusted peerage member. I’ve learnt that marriage isn’t the same as it was in my times.”

“Our times.” She corrected. She then flips our hands, “But it’s still a yes.”

Holding each other’s hand, we head into the house, going up to the common room, I lay her on the couch. My hand on her chest, she takes deep breaths as I undo the first button of her blouse, slowly I unbutton more and more, revealing her orange sports bra and toned body. With a pin, I prick her in the chest right onto a vien. A drip of black light slides off the tip of my finger and falls down the pin, into her puncture, the black drip visibly goes through her vien, her vien grows black with corruption. At last breath, she closes her eyes in serenity.

Out of her chest, a purple knight piece comes from a magic circle of fire, in my left hand, without even attempting to summon it, my queen piece was already there. A mutated queen, the second most valuable peerage piece in the world, and I give it to her. The crystaline purple piece sits on her chest, blue smoke swirls inside the crystal body.

I begin to pull the pin from her body, all that was corrupted leaves her body and returns to me. Under the chess piece, a magic circle forms, the magic circle of our mixed crests, an indigo in color. Crossed, double-bladed scythes with the blades being feathers, the sigil in the center being the Phenex crest, runes of latin runs around the border.

The queen enters her chest, accepting her as its owner. With a gleeful breath of relaxation, I sit beside her and stroke her hair, rebuttoning her blouse back up.

After a few seconds, her eyes flutter open, with a yawn she says, “Did you cry?”

With a smile I undo her bun, “My soul did, with all it’s might it didn’t want to lose you.”

“How long have we been together?” She asked, stretching herself across me.

I think back and say, “Four hundred and three years, and ninety-two days. But who’s counting?”

“You obviously.” She pokes me in the cheek and calls me a, “Nerd.” I sink into the touch of her hand, as she rubs my cheek, a gentle hand of well known nature. “You may be a lion, but limit the harem.”

“What harem?” I queried innocently.

“You’re a pureblooded devil, high class, ultimate class, and a lion.” She states, “You’re just a perv walking.”

I place a hand just under her breast, her breaths shorten, shortening furthermore as slowly I lowered my hand down to her… leg. She blushes profusely as her body clings onto me, I tell her, “I’m not your body, nor your mind. Perv~.”

“Okay…” She sits up and nudges my chin with her head, “maybe I just want you to myself?”

“You accepted a marriage proposal without the proposal.” I joked. “Retry what you said?”

Hiding her face, she answers, “I want you to myself…”

I wrap my arms around her with my chin on her head, smiling I pet her and her body. “Lions are polygamous, but Eagles are monogamous. I’m a griffen, so which am I?”
