Chapter 5 Emergency
"Dad?" Callie said in shock staring at her father laying in a hospital bed very banged up. She turned towards Bailey. "Why-is he-what happened?" Callie asked. All of sudden her Dad's monitor started to go off. "DADDY!" She screamed running towards him. Bailey grabbed her and started to pull her away. "It's okay Callie we've got him. We've got him. It's okay." Bailey said. Callie looked at Bailey tears in her eyes. "I'm going to check your father out and I am going to ask you to stay calm." Bailey told her holding onto her shoulders. Callie took a deep breath and nodded her head.
Later, Callie was sitting in the attending's lounge her head in her hands. Arizona walked in. "Hey." She said to Callie. Callie looked up at Arizona and smiled. "Hi" Callie said. "I heard about your Dad." Arizona said walking to sit next to Callie. Callie edged in closer to Arizona. "He'll be fine. I bet he'll be fine." Arizona said. Then Arizona reached for her hand and squeezed it. Callie hesitated before squeezing Arizona's hand back. She rested her head on Arizona's shoulder snd they just sat there for a little bit snuggled into each other.
