Chapter 7 (Caught in the act)

A few weeks later Callie woke up and stretched her arms. Then she she sat up quickly and looked around. "Shit. Shit shit shit." She said quickly getting out of bed and grabbing for her clothes. Arizona sat up in bed pulling the covers over her chest. "What's wrong?" She asked Callie sleepily. "I slept over. We weren't supposed to sleep over that was the deal. We weren't supposed to sleep over so Sofia and everyone else wouldn't know and we wouldn't have to-" she stammered. "Oh oh god yeah what time is it? Maybe no one is up yet and you can sneak out. At least Sofia is still asleep." Arizona said. "Yeah." Callie said breathlessly pulling her shirt over her head. "It's still early everyone might still be asleep." Arizona said. "Okay good." Callie said. "Agh! Where is my jacket?!" Callie said frantically searching around the room. "Ooh! There it is!" Callie said spotting her jacket on a chair in the corner of the room. She ran over and picked it up and shrugged it over her shoulders. "Okay. I'm gonna go." Callie said walking over and giving Arizona a quick kiss before rushing out of the room. Callie was walking quickly but quietly down the stairs holding her shoes in her hand so she would make less noise. Alex walked into the hallway eating a bowl of cereal and he looked up the stairs. "Callie!" He said surprised. "What are you doing here?" Callie stopped in her tracks and her eyes widened as she tried to figure out what to say. Her eyes darted up the stairs in the direction of Arizona's bedroom and then she looked back at Alex saying nothing. A look of realization glazed over Alex's face as he took in Callie's disheveled clothes and messy hair. "Ooooh so it's not so much what you were doing as who you were doing." Alex said a smirk overcoming his face. "It's a secret for right now okay Alex? Please don't tell anyone. It's just a fling...thing." Callie said hesitantly her face a picture of sadness. Alex gave her a condescending look before they heard a door open upstairs. Callie looked in the direction of the sound then turned back towards Alex. "Okay I gotta go." Callie said pulling her shoes as she rushed out the front door.
