Alex and Arizona were checking the vital signs of a newborn in the NICU. "Sooo. You and Torres." Alex said nonchalantly looking down at the baby's chart. Arizona looked up at him confused. "What about me and Callie?" She asked. "You and Torres are at it again." He said. Arizona almost dropped her stethoscope in shock. "Wha? What? What are you talking about?" Arizona said trying to get a grip on her stethoscope again. "Come on Robbins you know what I mean." Alex said to her. "N-n-no we're not." She stammered. Alex gave her a condescending look one eyebrow raised at her because he knew the truth. "Come on Arizona. I saw Torres sneaking out this morning. And I'm not stupid." Alex said. Arizona's eyes widened even more. "What? You did? But-well did she say anything when she saw you? Does she know you saw her?" She blurted quickly. "Yeah she does and we had a small conversation yes." Alex told her. "Really? What did she say?" Arizona asked her eyes filled with a mix of hope and worry. "She said it was just a fling thing. But here's what I'm thinking. It's not. You and Torres could never just have a fling. Torres' face when she said it was just a fling? She looked heartbroken. Now I'm thinking that that's because she wanted to say it was more. And I bet you want to say it's more too. You both love each other and you know it. Now just stop kidding yourself Robbins and go let yourself be happy." Alex said determinedly. "But Karev...I-" Alex interrupted her. "Robbins. Come on. You guys have this beautiful thing. What you guys have is once in a lifetime. Yes you have issues to work out but everyone does in their relationships. I mean look at me and Jo. We're fighting right now. But we still love each other. Just like you and Torres do. You can't just let love like yours get way. If you do it's an insult to anyone looking for what you already have. Now come on. Just stop worrying and let yourself be happy."
