It was my last night in my own separate bed.
I tossed and turned but couldn't get any sleep.
I even tried going through Mathematics but failed to get any concentration.
Starting pondering and pacing around the room. This may be a wrong idea. I just needed to lie down in the dark, and pretty sure sleep would come.
Then I turned off the light and lay in bed in total silence maybe this sleep could come after all.
By the time I was slipping off to slumber, my door cricked open. Instead of feeling threatened, I felt a calmness.
So I pretended and shut my eyes closed.
By now I knew his ora, his scent was all I needed now to shuth me to sleep.
Rocking me, how I longed for that.
"Your still awake?" he asked after bolting the door closed behind him.
"Yes," I replied calmly.
"Am sorry," he said coming closer to me. " For everything."
His fingers landed on my cheek, I closed my eyes. Feeling him carase them. How it felt so perfect, arousing emotions in me.
I'd dreamed all this from the first time I saw him.
He came forward and sat on my bed, this hands didn't leave my cheeks then I also sat up.
It surprised him.
I placed my head on his shoulders. Good thing it was dark, he wouldn't be able to see my reaction and read how I feel.
Butterflies were just erupting in my stomach.
"I really am sorry Amandi," he said and I lifted my head from his shoulder. Back from reverie.
He couldn't do away with whatever he pulled up even if he tried luring me now.
"So why did you come here?" being precise now.
"To say sorry," he continued. "And to..."
"What?"I asked.
Then his lips landed on my lips.
He stole my first kiss.
At first I couldn't fathom what was going on but I found myself kissing him back.
"To kiss you goodbye," he said pulling away. Loosing breath.
Then why did he have to kiss me, to give me hope.
I surprised him too by making a move, I kissed him back. My breath was so hunched, I couldn't breathe.
Then my stomach rambled.
We both pulled away and laughed.
"Let me get you something to eat," he said standing up. "I'll go find any leftovers in the fridge."
"No stay here," I said getting hold of his hand. He laughed sitting back down.
"Never in a million years could I ever dream of you saying that to me," he implied.
"I know. Just getting the best of my life before the big bad wolf takes me off my feet."
He stayed silent.
"Hey?"
"If I could just change things, I'd ran away with you," he said sounding pained.
I laughed, "look at you." I laughed more. "Whose the girl from earlier?" I asked because they seemed really cozy together.
"Oh Layla? She's shes....aaaam," i could feel him ruffling this hair again.
"Girlfriend?"
"Yeah," he said dejected.
