Twenty Three

"Hey are you okay?" Caleb called from outside. I stayed silent pretending to be sleeping.

He opened the door and walked closer to me. Good thing I lay on the bed facing the opposite direction.

Then he got the blanket from one corner of my bed and covered me.

"Goodnight," kissing my cheek. And left.

By morning the Reinard brothers were already settled into the premises too. Word said they were equally as attractive as Caleb.

Its already expected.

Seems Kaffo had a thing for beautiful and stunning women in his early years. It was so expected of this, being from a rich established family, with a good education background which was shortlived when his parents died and he had to freeze his ambitions and focus on the family businesses and the farm.

Probably loosing his parents at a tender age affected him to become the cruel person he was now.

Standing by the balcony of Frayer's bedroom window watching the sun set then my eyes land on Zed, one of the Reinard brothers.

He looks up and waves, I wave back, showing less concern.

Then he smiled. What an awesome smile. I could see how he looked so stunning while he smiled.

It was luring to smile back.

Damn it Ama, you have eyes for Caleb. His has better looks. I reminded my corrupt mind. Blushing.

"Hey whose that?" Frayer who was grumbling on the pile of assignments she'd been dodging to complete for over an hour, asked.

"One of the Reinard brothers," I replied.

"Zed, Obed?" she inquired.

"Zed."

"Oh ! His the jolly one," sounding exited. She ran over to the window, climbing to the balcony.

Zed looked up again, then he waved at us.

"His so sweet and happy, I just like him already unlike Obed," she said. I just grinned.

But my heart was a still sore and nothing seemed to soothe it. Not even the presence of the two new princes.

"Hey you alright?" Frayer asked turning her attention to me.

"Yeah I am. Am great just a bit tired from working today at the farm."

"Then you deserve a bit of rest. Go have a nap, I'll come wake you up for dinner," she said.

Then I walked over to my room but I knew I'd fail to get sleep. These days I seemed to out grow sleeping like a baby, I always found it hard to catch sleep.

I tossed and turned on the bed but nothing then I got my mathematics book to try calculating some numbers thats when I hear a knock on the door.

Hiding my book, I rashed to open it.

Shocked to see Zed standing tall and charming on my door.

"Hey I know your shocked to see me,"he began reading my shocked expression.

"May I?" he asked. I'd even forgotten to let him in.

"Sure sure okay," leaving the door wide open for him to make himself comfortable.

"To what do I owe the pleasure?" I asked not wasting anytime.

"I was just touring around the house, you know its been long, since I was a child then I came across your room." he said, also shocked knew where my room was located.

But never mind, this is their house, he has to.

"I overheard you talking to yourself about lacking sleep," he jocked.

Oh my again. My talking will get me in trouble. I laughed and he also joined.
