I woke up with a kick to my shoulder. "Ugh..." I groaned, sighing in tiredness. I get up, stretching, and after that, Sarii enters my tent.
"Well, good morning to you." I smiled tiredly while petting him. Naru enters my tent with her bag and weapons. "Naru?" I asked, raising a brow.
We're going to find what's out there. If they don't see, then show them. You coming?" I sit there and think, Naru's right, we have to find what's out there and show them. I look at her and nod, and she nods back. "I'll wait for you." She exits the tent with Sarii.
Getting out of bed, I grab my weapons and bag and put (F/C) face paint on. I exit my tent, letting her know I'm ready to head out. We start walking while some of the tribeswomen look at us while they get to work. It was a long walk, but we eventually got there.
Something caught my eye. I see some strange green liquid on a tree, and looking down, I see that large footprint again. I crouch down, putting my fingers on the footprint, and Sarii hands me a long branch, which I take. "Thank you." Sarii runs off to see Naru. Measuring the footprint, I broke the stick where I measured it and held it up in front of me. My eyes widened; this was definitely something bigger.
I look back at the strange green liquid, gazing at it. 'It looks like blood.' "(Y/N)!" I jolted my head up, seeing Naru waiting for me. "Come on! We gotta find some food, make a fire for tonight, and head back to finding what's out there." I nod, and I turn my head one last time to look at the strange blood and the giant footprint. "Hmm..." I get up, and I start to catch up with Naru and Sarii. We went to go hunt for some rabbits, and using my bow and arrow, I shot one and got it. Naru is still trying to get some with her axe, but they keep running away. Sighing to myself, I grab my arrows from the rabbit I missed. I sighed.
"Hey, I've got an idea; follow me." Seeing what Naru has in mind, I nod and follow her to see what her idea is. We get near some small tree branches. "Is it something for your weapon?" I asked, and she nodded, smiling. "We can make some ropes and tie them around our weapons so we don't have to keep walking to get our weapons back and keep missing our targets. It'll make it easier for us." I smile at her idea. "I like the idea; let's get to it."
We snapped off some tree branches, and we peeled off the bark to make the ropes for us to use to tie them around our weapons. We both made braided ropes and tied them to our weapons. Now that's finished, we begin to practice throwing our weapons with the ropes that are tied to our weapons.
I watched Naru throw her axe from tree to tree, and so did Sarii. We both look at each other, and I give her a smirk, meaning that I'm impressed with her idea. She smiles back. We turn our heads and see some rabbits hopping around doing their usual thing, like eating grass.
I turn my head back to Naru, smirking. We can finally hunt those little hoppers. After a while, we finally got some rabbits to eat. 'Damn, this works pretty well.' I thought. We walk to a rocky hill, and there's a pretty nice view from up here.
Putting my stuff down, I start to make a fire while Naru gets her stuff to skin the rabbits and cut them up so we can eat them.
We start eating some rabbits while more are still cooking. Naru gives some rabbit meat to Sarii, which he takes and eats. "Next time, you're cooking." She said to Sarri, and he tilted his head. I start chuckling while eating, and I look to my right to look at the view tonight.
