"Tonight, babe?! It seems like you keep going out a lot lately. I thought maybe we could catch up on our shows tonight", Usher said.
"Honey, you know I love cuddling and watching our shows together. But I really wanted to support Michelle", I claimed.
Michelle is an actress and performs in a lot of stage plays. So the story I gave my husband was that my cousin Kelly was picking me up. I told him that we were going to see Michelle perform in a play called, "Why Did I Marry My Babydaddy?!"
Kelly is the one that came up with the name of the fake play...So judge her, not me!
"Why did she invite you at the last minute?", Usher asked.
"Babe, I knew about it. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to go. But I need to get out of the house sometimes", I said.
"We go out", Usher rebutted.
"Mostly to church stuff or with other pastors and their wives. I wanted to do something different tonight", I replied.
"Alright, well I'll see you when you get back, baby", he said. I kissed him and waited a few minutes for Kelly to arrive. When she did, I kissed my husband again and then headed to Kelly's car.
"Girl, you got me out here helping you cheat! I should charge you for my services", Kelly said jokingly.
"Don't start, Kelendria Trene!", I said.
"Whatever, Beyoncè Giselle! Anyway, did he believe the story I made up for you?", she asked.
"He actually did. I feel bad, but I can't keep going without having a good time. I've been a wife and mother since I was eighteen. I feel like I missed out on a lot. So now I'm making up for lost time", I explained.
"Not trying to say Usher is unfaithful because I don't know his business. But don't feel too bad. Because he might be out here doing the same thing! These men will sleep with a bitch and return home to you like nothing happened", Kelly said.
"I know....But I still don't want to hurt his feelings. I love Usher and I always will. But he's just not....He's not doing enough, Kelly", I shared.
"So then Bey, why are you still with him?", she asked.
"Because we've been married for over twenty years! It would be kind of ridiculous to divorce him now!", I answered.
"Girl, please! I know people who were married longer that who got a divorce! Nobody wants to be in an unhappy marriage", Kelly stated.
"It's not that Usher is mean to me or anything like that. He takes care of me and he loves me", I said.
"He takes care of you financially, Bey. But does he take care of you emotionally and sexually?", she asked.
