I couldn't believe it....I rushed out of Dinah's house and tried several times to return my husband's calls. By the time I arrived home, he was nowhere to be found! "Did he leave me?!", I asked myself. But I figured he didn't when I noticed all of his belongings were still in the house.
I texted my cousin Kelly to see if she was still up. Instead of texting me back, she called.
"What's going on, Bey?", she asked in a sleepy voice.
"My bad for waking you. Go back to sleep", I told her.
"I'm woke now, girl! Is everything ok?", she asked.
I sighed and said, "I was hanging out and didn't realize Usher was trying to call me. I rushed home and he's not even here! He's not answering his phone either."
"Well since you were hanging out, maybe he decided to do the same, Bey", Kelly replied.
"He doesn't hang out Kelly! Especially not this late!", I said in a panicky tone.
"Bey, calm down! Just hang up for me and try to call him again. Then let me know what's up", Kelly instructed me.
I did as she said. But as I was calling Usher, I heard a car pull up. I looked out of the living room window and saw Usher getting out of his vehicle. I was relieved that he was ok. But I still wanted to know where the hell he had been!
"Babe! I've been trying to call you", he said.
"And I've been trying to call you, too! Where have you been?!", I asked.
"Kierra left Tremaine and took the kids with her. He called me on the phone crying like a baby about it. So I decided to get him out of the house. I was trying to call to let you know that I was hanging out with him and you would probably beat me home. Which you did", he explained.
"Oh....Sorry I didn't answer when you called. They had the music blasting pretty loud where I was at", I told him.
"It's cool. Did you have fun with your girls?", he asked.
"Oh um, yes! We enjoyed each other", I told him.
"That's good, babe", he replied.
"Honey...Where did you and Tremaine go?", I asked..
"First, we went to grab some food at Chilli's. Then we went over to Deacon Pardison's house to play cards with him and a few of his other friends. Tremaine cheered up a little bit, but he's still taking the end of his marriage pretty hard", my husband informed me.
"That's understandable. He's been with Kierra for a long time", I said.
"Yeah....well let's hop in the shower and then try to get some sleep. We got church in the morning, babe", he said.
