Starflight was totally knocked out. His blind eyes were white with horror, and his right hind-leg was twisted. Overall, he was in horrid condition.

"What happened to him?" Bumblebee asked. "Did someone attack him?"

"Looks like it." Jerboa snarled. "He's gotten pretty banged up. Without proper care, he'll die."

Kinkajou was in total misery now. Starflight, a dragon she'd known for as long as Glory, was about to die and she couldn't do anything about it. Was this what life was going to be like for ever?

No. If I can stop Beauty, maybe I could save him. NO CRYING, KINKAJOU!!!!!

"We should probably move his body to a more healthy position. Leaving him like this would give me nightmares more weeks." Kinkajou said. She was hoping that he'd be ok, but there was no definite answer.

"Good idea."

So, Charming and Jerboa quickly moved his body over to the flat surface, and then they headed for the exit. Before they could get out though, a voice spoke from the shadows.

"Who are you?" it slithered to them. "Better not be coming to get me too. You guys have already damaged Starflight and captured the others. What do you want?"

Captured! That's great news! Ok, maybe not terrific, but better than them being mindless zombies.

She peered at the shape and gasped at his sight. He didn't move, looked quite tired and had sorrow twinkling in his eyes.

"Stonemover!" she gasped. "It's so good to see you! Do you remember me?"

"Voice is kind of familiar." she coughed. "Are you that Rainwing who NEVER stops pestering me?" He sounded a little annoyed, but there was still some sympathy coming out with it.

"She is." Charming agreed from beside her. "Can you tell us what happened. Let's just say maybe we can help them." He scraped his claws on the rocky ground and held a gaze of menace.

Stonemover told them of how some dragons rammed through here and wrecked everything! They'd taken the Tsunami, Sunny, and Clay and were said to be heading for the Rainforest. Kinkajou was worried about how they would fix this now.

"Should we head for the Rainforest?" Kinkajou suggested. "Maybe we could get 'em' there. It would be worth a shot."

Charming looked down at his talons for a minute. Whatever was on his mind, it was annoying Kinkajou. "No. We don't know if they're there and need to search a wider range. Me and Jerboa will head there while you three look for somewhere else. Meet back at the Nightwing island."

"Should we head back to the island first?" Bumblebee asked. "Maybe someone there has seen them and It would be more convenient." She sounded like there was more to her story, but didn't ask.

"No."

Charming and Jerboa flew off, leaving Ostrich, Kinkajou, and Bumblebee behind. Kinkajou was debating on where they should go, but then Ostrich broke her train of though.

"We're going to the island." she said. "I respect Charming, but your friend has seemed to be right most of the time. It's worth a shot. Real quick though, what would we find there?"

"Sky and Wren told me of a place they know that have many mystical legends." Bumblebee explained. "Maybe there's something there that could help us."

"Worth a shot."

When they arrived at the island, they had to be cations of avoiding other dragons. Running into Charming's followers was not something they needed right now. Bumblebee would grab their comrades and they would bolt out.

"Do you think we'll find a answer in that place?" Ostrich asked. "I really do not want to be zombie minded. Or have anyone else be  like that. Having your own mind is good for me."

Agreed. I didn't like seeing my friends like that.

Finally, the black and gold dragon came back with Dusky, Sky, and Wren behind her. Kinkajou told them of her plan, and for once they all agreed. The group flew off for the destination.

Wren had told them of a small village where some people she knew lived. It was in the middle of nowhere and Kinkajou was a little skeptical. Why would they want to live in a desolate home?

"How will they help us exactly?" Kinkajou asked. She didn't know what a small village of humans could do in a crisis like this?

"Ivy, my brothers partner, came from a village that was all about mystical legends. I think she can help." Wren explained. "It may be a long shot, but its worth a try."

It's worth a try if we're right. If not, what'll happen then?

Finally, Kinkajou spotted a small human civilization below a mountain. She saw all of them look up at her with wide eyes. Kinkajou counted ten small ones and was startled at their small size. How did they defend themselves?

"Wren!" a male one yelled. He stood with his arms waving and someone clutching him. She looked only a few years younger and had a more worry some expression.

"Hey guys." Wren called as they landed. "Sorry for the intrusion, but we needed to come and ask you something. This is Kinkajou, Bumblebee, Ostrich, Dusky, and you remember Sky. Guys, this is Leaf and Ivy."

"Pleasure." Kinkajou said, calmly. Really, she was buzzing inside! More little humans who knew dragon! What was the world going to throw her next? "I hear you have some legends."

It was Ivy who spoke first. "Of course! What ones would you like?"

Do you have one about a magical death dragon by chance?

"How about some old legends?" Kinkajou led with. Maybe these humans would know about the olden days. "Do you have some of those?"

"Only one." Leaf said. "Just an old story of the dragons. Basically, a dragon with red scales stood over a group of dragons. They were killed by a black dragon, but came back to life after. The dragons called him the hero."

"Interesting." Sky mumbled. "We need to find this guy."

Kinkajou looked at him with pity in her eyes. They already had. The prophecy, Charming's nonsense, and now this.

It was Sky. He was destined to be the savior, or the tribes would not survive.

"Let's get going." Kinkajou grumbled. "Thanks guys!"

I just hope Sky can do this. If not, what does that mean for the history of Pyrrhia and Pantala?
