Wings of Fire #16- Prophecy of Fire

Chapter 16

Has someone ever mentally and physically abused you? Has someone ever made you wish you'd never been in a certain position? Has someone ever made you wish that person could go burn for all eternity?

Harsh, but that's what Kinkajou felt for the next few days. Constantly, she was beaten and tortured only because of the little escape plan she, Charming, and Knowledgeable had made. It felt like the sun had melted onto her because she spent too much time in the sun! This is the worst! Curse all life!

She wanted so bad to shoot venom at fake Glory's stupid face and run laughing. The one problem was she had her mouth tied shut! Oh, and she'd never kill a dragon. That would be mean, cruel, and too out there for Kinkajou. She preferred her old life of everything being good and there being no problems. But she didn't have that!

"*grrr*" Kinkajou said though the metal face thing around her snout. She couldn't say anything which was also annoying! What was she supposed to do to keep herself in good condition. First you beat her, then take away her voice. HOW EVIL!!!

I wish someone would come and get me out of here! As her head screamed, Fake Glory once again smacked her with the metal rod she carried. "Take that you pest! Next time you won't mess with the all-powerful Beauty!" Kinkajou was at the end of niceness at this point. She was ready to just snap the cuffs holding her down and kill this dragon even if it wasn't like her! Beating dragons isn't like..... dragons!

Finally, Beauty came back and threw Kinkajou into her cell. She was relieved too be done for a bit and just lay with her broken bones. The world was a nightmare she wanted to never come into again. So, she went to sleep and didn't have a care in the world.

Then, Kinkajou was in the middle of nowhere. There were a few burned trees, some dead corpses, and in the middle stood a dragon Kinkajou had never seen before. They held a look of sadness as well as anger. The dragon as looking at a corpse that was singed into nothing but ash. How horrible! I wonder what happened here?

"We all want to know." a voice said. She turned her head too see Undauntable behind her looking somewhat sympathetic. "If you would like to see more, follow me." Without a word from her, he turned and ran. Kinkajou followed and found herself in a cave she had never seen before.

The cave had a few burning lanterns, some dragons, and prey sitting in a pile lined on the wall. Then, she saw the dragon from before with two smaller dragons at his side. Something about them reminded her of the small ones of modern day. "Dragons of the new continent of Pyrrhia!" he sounded.

Dragons from around the room looked at him with sorrow in their eyes. It was like something  major had happened, but Kinkajou didn't even know what! What was she supposed to know that was so special? Just say it already!

"Queen Moon is dead!"

Oh. Not that! Wait, who's Queen Moon? The entire room lit up into chaos and the dragon had too  silence them in response. He looked as angry as everyone else, but seemed a little more composed as if looking into the future.

He turned his head to the female small dragon behind him. "Princess Beauty will now be crowned new queen! She will lead us through this dark time and too a new era!" Kinkajous worst fears were coming true. This was when her reign started and when the dragons world collapsed! This wasn't a new, good leader but one everyone would soon fear.

Then, the world around her changed and she was standing on the edge of a beach with hundreds of dragons around her. Beauty hung at the very edge and began to speak. "Dragons! My even sister has decided that she should be leader! I think it's time we left Pyrrhia and formed a new world. I know we've stayed here for hundreds of years, but we have no choice!"

Kinkajou recognized the dragons around her as Leafwings and some combination of Hivewing/Silkwing. It looked as if Beauty was starting the forming of Pantala! The dragons around her looked tired and hungry. Who was Beauty's sister who was doing all of this? Was this why Beauty turned evil? Because Pyrrhia had kicked her out? If she'd listen to me, maybe I could help her.

"This was how the two dragon continents you see today were formed." Undauntable said. "The story of Beauty and everything else. You'd think Beauty was trying to be good though." His words made Kinakjou's mind spin. Wasn't she trying to be good? What else had happened in these few hundred years?

Kinakjou was taken to another place filled with jewels. Beauty sat on a throne with Knowledgeable at her feet. She looked quite angry and Kinkajou was pretty sure she knew where this was going. "Did you kill Charming, my dear brother?"

Knowledgeable looked up at her with fury in his eyes. "Yes, your idiotness." Kinkajou was mesmerized by the small dragons fierce words. "What are you going to do about it?"

"I order you to leave the continent! Be gone and never return!" 

Kinkajou awoke in a sweat or panic! She had seen the past again and didn't know why. What in the world was Undauntable trying to tell her? Why did he need to show her all of these events? What was the point? 

Kinkajou curled back up in confusion. What ever he was trying to tell her, it had to be important! Now all she had to do was get out of this prison Kinkajou snapped back into the world and soon!

Beauty entered the room. She held a look of tyranny and looked as if she was ready to end the world itself. "What do you want?" Kinkajou wasn't in the mood to see that evilness!

Beauty stepped aside to show a dragon behind her. She had pink scales, a happy yet evil expression, and..... wait! That's my clone! She's already made my clone! Oh no! Does that mean I'm going to her special place! The other Kinakjou came into the cell and took her by the arm.

She dragged her through the maze of tunnels until they reached a interesting looking contraption. It had a place Kinakjou would stand and a arrow that looked as if it was built by ancients.

"In different circumstances, the boss would let you live." Fake Kinkajou laughed. "But not this time! Say good bye." Kinkajou looked at her with sorrowful eyes. This was it. She was ending her adventure with nothing left. It was all over!

I just hope the others stop her! But it's time for my end!
