Wings of Fire #16- Prophecy of Fire

Chapter 15

Kinkajou and the two males talked over an escape plan. The only object was Glory and she wasn't going to be the hardest to get through. Even she had some weakness. The only weird thing was how she looked at them. It was like she wasn't even Glory but she was. How we're they supposed to get everyone back to normalcy? Even I have to admit it may not be that easy. There may be some more stuff to do too fully stop her annoyance.

"So, what have we got so far?" Kinkajou asked them. She was tired of being trapped in the cells with only bickering boys to talk to. Having other people could be taken for granted sometimes.

Charming spoke first. "We don't know much about where we are, but we could try to ask that Rainwing." Kinkajou was a little annoyed at his harsh tone. Charming could be a bit of an idiot from time to time and calling her bff some random Rainwing was a bit harsh.

"I don't think that'll work." Knowledgeable said. "We don't even know how Beauty's controlling them and that's a problem. First, we need to find more information." Kinkajou saw the small wink he gave her which was pretty annoying. SHE DIDNT WANT TO WAIT!!!!

"It's weird she'd use the same idea Cottonmouth though." Charming observed. "Don't you think she'd want to be a little more secretive? I'm just saying." Kinkajou was in agreement with him. Using those same tactics did seem kind of weird. What her real reason?

"Maybe she's got a bigger plan." Kinkajou said. She saw the approving nods from the other two which gave some hope. The first step to fixing all of this was agreeing with each other! Now they could actually find a way out of this prison. "So how about you two get out and find some more info. I'll stay here and meet you two as soon as I'm done."

Charming looked at her with thankfulness in his eyes. "That can be done, but are you sure you'll be ok? If you die, we can't help you then." After that sentence, Knowledgeable gave him a smack.

"Don't be so rude! Besides, Beauty likes hostages for big plans better than dead corpses. Plus, they smell horrid which goes against her so called protical." Knowledgeable gave her some hope for all of this. Having an all-smart dragon was nice to have giving future goodness for her.

As the males worked out a way out, Kinkajou looked back at her mindless friend. Glory was twitching in her sleep and looked as pale as ever. Kinkajou felt pity and anger rising up. Why was Beauty such a evil tyrant? Couldn't she just go away and everyone's lives go back to normal for once? I swear she is gonna pay. Has she just killed anyone for fun yet? Seems like something she'd do. Then, something struck her thoughts. Has she killed one of my friends yet?

Kinkajou put her horrified thoughts off so she could see what Charming and Knowledgeable were doing. The two had apparently, ALREADY made a plan and we're ready for action! IN THAT ONE MINUTE OF KINKAJOUS ANXIOUS THOUGHTS!!!! These guys were good.

They explained the idea to her and she agreed whole heartedly. They devised that they would escape through a small hole in the cage wall. It was a little obvious and small, but they did it anyway. Then, she would stay and do things. Mostly try to figure out from blank Glory how Beauty's being such a..... Brutey?

I wish things could work out easier. Being alone is the worst!

She still had too endure it as they flew off. She was alone and had no one to talk to. It was as if the world had indefinitely shut down and she couldn't do anything! Was this how her life was going to be from now on? The other thing was what would Beauty do too her now?

Is this the end for me?

Kinkajou spent the next while just drawing in the dirt. With nothing too do and Glory asleep, the world was blank. AND SHE WAS AS BORED AS EVER!!! What was a dragon supposed to do in jail with no sun? How was she supposed to cope? I wish this had never happened. I could be back to the Rainforest by now enjoying the sun and bananas. I would even go to see Coconut the dumb again.

She frowned at the rocky wall in front of her. How hard would it be to break through that wall or at least punch to get her anger out? Kinkajou didn't want anger in her. IT WAS ALMOST AS BAD AS THAT IDIOT DARKSTALKER!!!

Then, she heard a faint cry coming from somewhere close. She looked behind her to see Glory dragging behind her..... Glory? And almost identical Glory was behind her in sobs. What? Is it like a clone or something?

"Kinkajou!" the new Glory yelled. "I'm so glad to see you! Don't trust these idiotic fakes! There not us!" Kinkajou looked at her friend in puzzles. So these weren't the real friends of Kinkajou? WHAT A RELIEF! But, why was she yelling all of this?

Then, a shadowy shape came out from a crack in the wall. A small human appeared with the worst looks ever! He had a ragged fur or clothes, his face was scared, and he looked like he hated  the world. Something in him reminded her of Winter. "Da boss and Beauty want Glory the Rainwing and the others too be put in the special place." And just like that, he was gone. No trace, no sound, no nothing.

Who was that and what's the " special place"?

Blank Glory dragged the real Glory away and all Kinkajou could hear were muffled yells from the queen. She had acted so scared and anxious that Kinkajou was wondering what was going on? What was Beauty doing to them? And who was the boss?

And what will they do too me next?

It was another long while when Kinkajou woke. She'd apparently fallen asleep and once again fake Glory was on her podium looking angered and rude. So if these are clones, the other dragons are ok! That's one Kinkajou and zero Beauty!

Remembering what she'd seen earlier had comforted Kinkajou. She didn't have to be as anxious and annoyed that the universe suddenly hated her! It was a warm, fuzzy feeling. Like sloths! Now that I've seen all I need, the question is how to get out of here?

She thought for a while until her guard shot up. Fake Glory now held a face of pride and respect and looked more upbeat than before. Who is she expecting. Then, she heard the mighty steps from close and knew who was here. Then came the dragons jingles of jewels and dragons teeth, then the hiss or her tongue and finally she appeared.

"Hello Kinkajou." Beauty looked even more ruthless than the last time she'd seen her and now wore a scar over her left eye. Overall, creepy. "Hello Beauty." Kinkajou said.

Beauty looked into the cage for a minute and rage swelled in her eyes. Kinkajou already knew what her question was and was about to show how bad Kink could get when under pressure. "Where's Charming and by brother?"

Kinkajou gave her one last glare. "There gone. And you will never find them."
