Chapter 53

At Avu's home

AD was sitting quitely when he got a call. He cut the call without seeing who it is. But phone was ringing continously so he finally picked it up.

AD: Hello

: Hello fufa jii

AD: Hnn kya chahie ab tujhe? Ek chhota sa kaam tum logo se hua nhi. Kisi kaam ke nhi ho. Nikamme ho tum sab ke sab. Sharam aani chahie. Kahi chullu bhar pani mein doob maro jaake. Ek kaam dia tha. Avneet ko doond kar laoo. Utna bhi tum log se nhi hua. Ab phone kyu kia hai?

: Vahi batane ko to phone kia hai. Mein ghar jaa raha tha. Par train nikal gayi thi to maine socha aaj apne dost ke ghar ruk jata hu. To mein doosri train se sheher aa gya

AD: To ticket ke paise bhejoo?

He asked irritatedly.

: Arre nhi aap meri poori baat to suniye

AD: Bol kya hai

: Wo Avneet aur uska majnoo ashiq yaha haath pakad ke ghoom rahe hai

AD: Kya?

He asked shockingly.

: Jii hnn fufa jii

AD: Tu sach bol raha hai?

: Mein jhooth kyu boloonga?

AD: Poora vishwaas hai tujhe?

: Maine apni aakhon se dekha hai

AD: Theek hai. Peechha kar dono ka aur bata mujhe kaha jaate hai dono. Aur mein aata hu waha

: Jii fufa jii

AD hanged up the call and went to pick up his car keys and moved towards gate. AM saw him.

AM: Kaha jaa rahe hai aap ab?

AD ignored and left.

AM: Hey bhagwaan. Ab kya karne gaye hai ye? Aur kaha?

He got the message of address in sometime. He reached there and saw Avu's other cousins also.

AD: Kaha hai dono?

: Andar hai

AD nodded and they went and rang the bell.

Meanwhile inside the home

Sidneet were cleaning dishes. Bell rang.

Sid: Lagta hai hospital se koi aaya hoga

Avu nodded.

Avu: To tum jaoo dekho. Ye mein kar loongi

Sid went out and opened the door. His eyes were wide opened seeing him. AD was looking at him with red eyes because of anger. Avu also came. Her mouth was open seeing everyone.

Avu: Papa

It came out as a mere whisper. AD saw her.

AD: Sharam aati hai soch kar ki tujhe maine paida kia hai

He said gritting his teeth. Avu looked down with teary eyes.

Sid: Wo...

AD stopped him by showing his palm.

AD: Tujhpar bharosa karke zinda chhoda tha. Par tu layak hi nhi tha. Usse paida karke galati ki thi aur tujhe zinda chhod kar. Par ab apni galati sudharoonga mein

Sidneet looked at each other with fear in their eyes. Sid joined his hands.

Sid: Dekhie mein nhi jaanta ki maine jo kia wo theek tha ya nhi. Avneet ke saath aese bhaag kar aa jana. Mujhe nhi pata. Par uski zabardasti aese shaadi karwa kar kisi ajnabi ke saath. Uski life kharab ho jati

Avu's cousin: Bass chup. Zyada bakwas karne ki zaroorat nhi hai. Hum jaante hai apni ghar ki betiyo ka bara bula. Kisi bahar wale ko aakar hume sikhane ki zaroorat nhi hai

(A/n: There were 4-5 cousins present there. I am not giving anyone's name as it's not important. You can imagine anyone.)

Avu: Papa please mein aapse maafi maangti hu iske lie. Par please aap mujhe Sid ke saath vida kar dijie. Please papa. Maine aaj tak aapse kuch nhi maanga. Aaj haath jod kar kanya daan maangti hu. Aapko to meri shaadi hi karwani thi na. To karwa dijie ab. Mera kanya daan kar dijie papa....Sid ke saath

She said joining her hands with tears rolling her eyes.

AD: Kanya daan to maine kar dia aaj. Teri iss harkat ke kaaran kanya daan to maine aaj kar dia

Avu looked at him in confusion. Sid shooked his head wishing it was not true he was thinking. His eyes got teary.

Sid: Anushka

It came out of his mouth before he could even think anything. Avu froze at her place understanding what her father meant. Tears rolled down her eyes.

Avu: Nahi. Nahi

She was moving backward. She tripped and felt down.

Avu: Nhi. Ye nhi hosakta. Nhi hosakta ye

She shouted and broke down in tears. Tears's rolled down Sid's eyes as well. He bit his lower lip to suppress his sobs. He closed his eyes tightly as tears continued to roll his cheeks. Sidneet had an eyelock. There eyes were filled with tears and guilt.
