Chapter 17 At Del Fuego's Realty and Brokerage Firm

Jericho had a great time after accompanying Teacher Maria in her three-day Teachers' Conference in Cebu. It had so many changes to his plan for her. He had known her more during the conference and it seemed that she wanted to be his woman already for real.

Upon arrival at Del Fuego's Realty and Brokerage Firm, his major stockholders were also there. There will be a Stockholders' Special Meeting. His colleagues acknowledge his presence.

"Wow, our well-known womanizer is already here. How's your new target for this month?" Carlo asked him with his wide smile. He used to be with Carlo most of the time at the bar when they were looking for girls for fun. He knew his plan for Teacher Maria as he had shared his story before with him.

Jericho just smiled at him and he will tell him about the changes in his plan for Teacher Maria.

Meanwhile, one of their clients who were just in the lobby is Teacher Maria's friend who wanted to buy a piece of farmland in the vicinity of Batangas. Teacher Maria was referring him and he was there to look for Mr. Jericho del Fuego. He had heard what Carlo and Jericho were talking about without knowing that he was Mr. del Fuego.

"Hey, how's the teacher you've been telling us about? Did you take her virginity already?" Carlo was very vocal with Jericho. He even makes me laugh about it.

Jericho felt embarrassed for Teacher Maria. It was his first intention with her before but it changes after being with her for a day stayed in Cebu during her conference. Teacher Maria doesn't deserve to be toyed with or played around with.

"Stop talking nonsense," he said with a bit of high bitch to Carlo. Making the crowd look at them.

"Ooow! What seem's to be the problem Echo? It was you who told us that time. Teacher Maria is the name right?" Carlo would like to provoke Echo as he senses something's wrong with their playboy friend. He used to be very vocal about her girls before and Echo hadn't had any serious relationships with them. Girls for him were just collections.

Echo was keeping his temper since a lot of clients and sales agents were there in the lobby.

Erwin on the other side, Teacher Maria's friend overheard her name and was so disappointed with Mr. del Fuego. He doesn't want to continue his collaborations with him already. He needs to warn Teacher Maria against Mr. del Fuego.

He seemed to destroy his friend Maria. Teacher Maria had been his good friend since they were kids and even if he liked her so much, he's not abusing their kindness toward Maria toward him and his family. Their parents were good friends as well. He was hurt hearing how Mr. del Fuego and his colleague talked about Teacher Maria. She has a pure reputation and is a school teacher as well.

Hearing those words for Teacher Maria made him decide to leave Del Fuego's Realty and Brokerage Firm. He would like to go straight to Teacher Maria's place and inform her about it.

However, he needed to report for his work at Lipa City. He will schedule his visit to Teacher Maria the other day.

"I don't want you to talk nonsense to Teacher maria anymore. She's different," Echo told Carlo, making Carlo and other colleagues frozen.

"Echo, do you have a fever," Libi, the most serious one among them asked Echo and started to put his hand on Echo's forehead to check if he has a fever or what.

Echo ignored him and went to their mini bar inside the lobby. He took a bigger one and started to pour a tequila. He was wrong telling his colleagues his initial plan to Teacher maria before.

Live and Carlo were left quiet then. They smiled and thought that Teacher Maria is something. Only she made their playboy friend as serious as he is right now.

Jericho used to voice out what he did to his women before, But now, he seemed to keep secrets concerning Teacher Maria. He used to care for her now which is rare for Mr. Jericho del Fuego.

They joined Echo at the minibar and drink with him. They didn't bring up the topic with Teacher Maria anymore. They will respect the silence of Jericho.

However, Jericho planned to visit Teacher Maria later as he had missed her already.

While drinking, the image of Teacher Maria keeps on appearing in his vision.

He decided to fetch Teacher Maria from her work later.

He texted her and told her that he will fetch her and have dinner with him tonight.

Teacher Maria's android phone vibrates and when she saw the name of Mr. del Fuego on the screen, she reads and replies.

"I'll fetch you later Maria. Let's have dinner together okay," Echo sends his message to her.

"Alright, I'll wait for you later. Take care," Teacher Maria replied while smiling. Her impression of Mr. del Fuego changes after their 3-day Teachers' Conference in Cebu.

He is different in person compared with the hearsay before.

She finds him a gentleman instead. She liked his company a lot. She felt important whenever Jericho's presence was there.

She giggles while putting back her android phone in her bag.

Teacher Maria patiently waited for her time to leave her work. She sorted all her things and set aside what should be left in her room. She's a bit excited about their dinner date. She put a little makeup and light lipsticks on her lips.

Her co-teachers were teasing her.

"Hey Teacher Maria, seemed that Mr. del Fuego will fetch you again. Is he your boyfriend already?" Teacher Carla asked her.

"We are just friends," she said. She doesn't know the real status of their relationship either. Echo is not asking her anything yet and she can't just assume anything about it too.

"As your friend, Teacher Maria, just a piece of friendly advice. I am not against Mr. del Fuego if you like him but please be careful with him. You know his reputation already. He is well-known as a notorious playboy bachelor in town okay. Anyways, it's still your choice," Teacher Carla reminded her.

Teacher Maria knew about it already but it seems that she was already falling for him.
