Chapter 21 Maria's Decision

After what had happened to her and Echo, Maria decided to come and live together with Echo in his apartment already. Maria is waiting for Echo to tell her about his plans of talking to her parents yet he doesn't tell her anything about it for now. Perhaps, he will ask her after they were in his condo unit already.

Maria and Echo packed all her personal belongings since Echo decided to bring her into his condo unit already.

Echo asked Maria to bring only her personal belongings and he will then ask some of his people to bring the other things the next day. He wanted to be with Maria since the first hour of this morning and he doesn't want her to get out of his sight anymore.

He is sure of himself to be Maria's husband. He will inform his parents as soon as Maria is transferred to his condo already. He is so sure that his mother Mrs. Del Fuego will agree with his decision as she loves Maria to be his wife.

He will also ask his parents to come with him and ask for Maria's hands officially from her parents. He wanted to make Maria his queen starting today.

Maria was a bit nervous while packing and sorting all her personal belongings. This will be the biggest decision of her life, living with the man of her dreams without informing her parents first. She loves Echo so much. She doesn't mind what her co-teachers will tell against her anymore. She wanted to be with him and serve him as her man from now on.

She knew things will be different from the moment she stayed at Echo's place already. She's now starting to adjust herself and think of how to treasure the love they have at the moment. She gave everything to him now, her innocence and her whole self. She just wished and prayed so hard that her parents will understand her.

"Are you ready my Love? I've already talked with your Landlady and paid in advance for another month of your rental until you fully pull out all your things here," Echo said while approaching her and kissing her lips.

Maria felt the urgency of coming with the Echo already. She's a bit sad about leaving the apartment she had lived for quite some time.

When she was about to lock the door outside, her mobile phone vibrates and she was a bit guilty when she looked at the screen. It's her mother.

"Who's it? Answer it. It might be important," Echo said when he saw Maria's facial expression.

"It's Mom. Excuse me. I need to answer this call. Please wait for me for a while," Maria said.

"Sure. Take some time," he said,

"Hello Mom," Maria answered her mother's call.

"Hey, Maria. I've heard from the others that you have brought a man into your apartment last night. Was it true?" Maria felt the anger in her mother's voice.

"It's not true Mom, it's just......." Maria hadn't finished her words when her Mom approached her in front of her and gave her a hard slap.

Maria almost fell to the floor when Echo suddenly caught her.

"What happened?" Echo asked while looking at Maria and her mother alternately.

"So it's you," Maria's mother can't help but gave a hard slap to Echo as well.

Echo was so shocked while touching his aching face.

"You're asking what happened? You just slept with my daughter. What kind of man are you?" Maria's mother yelled at Echo.

Maria was so embarrassed by her mother's attitude. Echo was innocent. They will explain it later to her parents, but it seems someone just squill them.

"Mom, it wasn't his fault. It's our mutual decision and we are planning to talk it over with you and Dad," Maria cried while explaining to her mother.

Echo was a bit mad seeing the marks of the hand of Maria's mother on her small face.

"I will take full responsibility for what I did to your daughter Ma'am. Just don't hit her please," Echo embraced Maria.

Maria's mother was so disappointed and left the two of them.

"Mom!" Maria wanted to stop her mother but Echo was still holding her.

"No need to follow her Love. Let's go and we will go to your place with my parents for a formal," Echo gave assurance to Maria.

Maria can't help but shed her tears while looking at the back of her mother slowly walking away from them.

"I am so sorry Mom. I am sorry," Maria sobs. Echo embraced her once again and let her cry on his chest.

He doesn't want to see Maria crying. He caressed Maria's face which swells right now due to the hard impact of her mother's slap a while ago.

Maria was so depressed while getting inside Echo's car.

She doesn't want to disappoint her parents, especially her mother. It was just she hadn't prepared her parents with her actions and decisions coming from her heart.

She loves Echo so much.

Maria just wished that her decision to come and live with Echo will be better.

She knew that she hurts her mother so much and she doesn't even know how to face them now, especially her father. Her parents were expecting too much from her since she was their only offspring.

Echo felt Maria's sadness. He held her hand and kissed it. "I am just here, I won't leave you. Everything will be alright, just trust me okay," he gave an assurance to her to calm and comfort her.

"Thank you Echo. I don't know what to do if you will leave me now," Maria said while crying.
