"It's the last day in the hospital and honestly, I can't wait to go home."
"I never thought that you would say this someday." Vegas answered his little brother.
"Neither did I, but here I am."
The brothers sat at the desk in Macaus room.
"So how's everything going with Chay?"
Macau looked over to the sleeping boy in his hospital bed and smiled.
"I guess everything's good."
"You guess ?"
"Yeah I mean.. He told me that he likes me, he's just not sure where this will lead us. He never left my side since I'm here and I'm really thankful for that. It actually shows me that he really cares about me."
"That's true tho. He's like Pete." Vegas said smiling.
"I'm pretty sure a normal friend of yours wouldn't have done that."
"My friends didn't even visit me once to be honest." Macau said.
He didn't have many friends but two or three and the only thing they did was writing him a message, saying 'hopefully you won't die during surgery. Haha just a joke.'
Macau knew his friends weren't really nice but they were the only ones brave enough to befriend the classes mafia son.
His friends were either liars, cheater or just straight up assholes.
He also got along with some girl but they barely saw each other.
Vegas' brother was still staring at the boy in his bed and Vegas saw a faint smile on his little brothers lips.
"Chay and I kissed a few times." He suddenly broke the silence and Vegas' eyes widened.
"What ?!" He said, trying to stay as calm as possible.
It wasn't a bad thing, no !
Vegas and Porsche actually talked about that a few times already, but hearing these words from his brother made him excited.
"You kissed ?!"
"Yes." The younger one answered excited himself.
"Tell me about it !"

"And that was the last time we kissed." Macau ended his sentence.
"Wow. I'm really happy for you Macau. And after hearing this, I'm pretty sure he will become your boyfriend one day."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure." Vegas replied confused.
"How do you feel about me being openly in love with Chay?"
"What do you mean ?"
"Well you know.. People talk. Especially people my age."
"Is this about you getting beaten up ?"
"No. Well kinda. But you know.. You and Pete.. you're a couple and everybody loves and respects you. Same goes for Kinn and Porsche and even Time and Tay. But for me.. Me being in love with Chay is somehow weird for most of the people in school. So I was wondering how you feel about that."
"Macau. You are my brother and I love you no matter what. For the longest time, you were the only family I had. I know teenagers can be mean as fuck but let me tell you something.."
"Yes ?"
"Fuck em and their stupid opinions. Your love isn't worth less than mine or Kinn's or Time's. You and your feelings matter and same goes for Porchay's. So if you two love each other, you shouldn't care about other peoples opinions. Maybe it will be hard for them to accept y'all and maybe they're gonna be mean but as long as you two stay true to each other, none of this can break you apart. And for me.. Macau as long as you are happy and loved, I am happy. You understood?"
"Who are you ?"
Vegas face dropped.
Seriously?!
He just ended a bomb ass speech just for Macau to react like that ?
"Ass."
"I was just joking ! Thank you P'. That really means a lot to me."
"You're welcome. Ass."
Macau just laughed and so did his brother.
"Thank you for everything P'." Macau added.
"Don't get sentimental." Vegas said without looking at his little brother.
"Sure sure."

Chay woke up, groaning as his eyes still had to adjust to the bright light.
"Good morning sleepy head."
"What ? Is it morning already?"
"No. It's nearly 11pm. You slept since 1pm." Macau said smiling.
"I'm so sorry. I ruined our date."
"No you didn't. Let's just cuddle."
Chay looked at the older one, smiling from ear to ear as he opened his arms for Macau to come hug him.
The older boy didn't think twice and just went in for the hug.
"I can't wait to finally get discharged."
"One more night darling. One more night."
