"What do you mean 'He didn't ask me..' ?"
Chay sat in his room, facetiming with Luna.
He wasn't mad at Macau.
Why would he be mad ?
He was just..
Well He expected their date to end a little different.
Chay really hoped that Macau would finally ask him THE QUESTION but the night ended with a kiss at the frontdoor and a good night text.
"Well we went out and after we had dessert, I actually thought he's going to ask me, but.."
"But what ?"
"He just asked me to dance.."
"Asked you to dance ?"
"Yes.. Luna please I need some girl advice.. What was he thinking ? Do you think he's going to ask me or.."
"I guess he was just nervous."
"Macau ? Nervous? Why would he be nervous? I mean.. I showed you pictures. He looks so good, he's kind and loveable and his eyes are so beautiful."
"Chay, honey, just because he looks good, doesn't mean that he can't be insecure about certain things."
"She's right." Another voice spoke up.
"Pretty sure Luna's right and he was nervous as fuck."
"Hm I understand.." Chay stared at Luna and Jaidee through his phonescreen.
"Did he call you today ?"
"No, I guess he's still asleep since he didn't respond to my messages."
"Its 1pm. You sure he's asleep ?" Luna said more to herself.
"Listen Chay.. I know we only know each other for half an hour now, but if you allow me to say my opinion - I think you should talk to him. Just ask him straight forward."
His best friend called him to talk about yesterday and the youngest was able to meet Luna's girlfriend, since she slept over at the older girls place.
"You think so ?"
"Yes I guess that would be best for both of you."
"Why didn't you ask him yourself?" Luna interrupted.
"I don't know.. I was about to but I got shy and thought that maybe I would spoil his surprise and-"
"Overthinking at it's finest baby." Jaidee said and the three friends giggled.
"I'm off to work now. Chay, it was a pleasure to meet you. I hope we can meet in real soon. Baby, see you later." She said, kissed Luna's forehead and left.
"She has to work ? It's the weekend."
"Yeah she works in her aunts cafe." Luna said with a proud smile.
"You're having heart eyes right now." Chay said laughing.
The friends continued their talk about MacauChay and their date night and Luna tried her best to give her bestie advice.
"Hey I need to go okay?" She said after ten more minutes and Luna hung up.
The younger checked his messages, but when he saw that Macau still didn't answered, he got worried.
Chay decided to call Macau but the older wouldn't pick up.
He went straight to the voicebox.
"Hey, Macau.. Darling.. I just wanted to ask if you wanna go out today ? Call me back please.. I miss you."
