Day 12. -Macau-

Hey ^^

A few words to this chapter.

This is what happened to Macau.

The reason for his behaviour towards Chay :(

"Hey P', could you take me and Chay to the cinema today?"

"Yeah sure. I'll take you there when I pick up Pete."

The brothers stood in the kitchen, each making themselves something to eat.

"How was your date ?"

"It was awesome ! I was too nervous to ask him tho.. Nevermind. I'll ask him today !"

The young boy grabbed his plate and went over to the diningtable when his father entered the room, angry.

"Macau Theerapanyakul!"

"Yes sir.."

"How dare you ? Would you care to explain why my friends tell me that even my youngest son is a fucking fag ?"

"What do you mean ?"

"Don't act like that ! My friend saw you at a restaurant yesterday,  cuddling and dancing with some boy. You are disgusting Macau. You are not my son !"

"Dad, calm down." Vegas stepped in.

"Silence !"

Gun stared at Macau and lifted his hand to slap his kid.

"You will break up with this disgusting boy and stop this bullshit."

"Why does it matter if it's a boy or a girl ? Vegas also has a boyfriend and you-"

Slap. Another hard slap landet in Macau's face.

"You two are disgusting and I don't fucking care about Vegas shit as long as he's doing a good job. Don't you dare talking back to me again you little fucker. You do as I told you and that's it."

Gun turned around and left.

"Macau ? Are you-"

"He's right."

"What? No he's not !" Vegas said in panic.

"I can't do that to Chay. I can't drag him into my broken family just to go down with us.."

"You're not dragging hi- Listen Macau, calm down first and-"

Macau didn't even care.

He just stood up, not even glancing at his brother.

"Macau, you love him and he loves you. It doesn't matter what Gun says okay ? We'll find a solution. But please - calm down now !"

"P' ? Why is my love worth less than anyone else's?"

"It's not Macau. You and your feelings are valid !"

Vegas went over to his brother and hugged him.

"It's okay Macau. We'll find a way."

"Why's our family so fucked up ?"

"We're Mafia sons Macau. What do you expect ? Unicorns and cotton candy ?"

Macau shook his head no.

"No, just a father like uncle Korn who doesn't care about our sexuality as long as we are happy. Why does he hates us so much ?"

"Macau, nevermind Gun. Sit down and eat."

"I'm not hungry." The younger one said and went up to his room.

Macau's phone was ringing a few times already and Chay even left a message on his voicebox.

Hearing the youngers voice, Macau felt like crying.

He didn't knew what to do.

This wasn't the first time that his dad slapped him.

It wasn't the first time that his father tried to ruin something for him.

It was a simple thing his dad told him to do.

Just break up.

A few words and it might seem like nothing but a few harmless words but Macau knew what his father was capable of doing and he was afraid that he would hurt Chay.

Macau knew from the start that it would end badly, but his feelings took over him and now he had to pay the price.

His phone rang a few more times and when he finally picked up and heard Chay's voice, he began to smile.

That didn't last long and his smile turned into a frown.

'No Macau, you can't do this to Chay. His life is already a mess, you can't drag him into this shit.'

He took a deep breath and now he was sure -

Chay needs to hate him.

He had to make Chay hate him as soon as possible, so that he can't get hurt by Macau's father.

"What do you want ?" He tried his best to sound pissed.

"Uhm.. Macau, hey it's me."

"I know. What do you want ?" He said and with each word that's left his mouth, his eyes got teary and his heart felt heavy.

"I uhm.. I just wanted to ask if-"

'Chay probably thinks that he did something wrong..' Macau thought.

"What ? Listen I don't have time for this. Talk or I'll-"

"Nevermind. Goodbye Macau." The younger said, clearly overwhelmed and hung up.

"Chay ? Hello ?"

Nothing but a few beeps could be heard and Macau finally started to cry.

He didn't wanted it to end like that.

He wanted Chay.

But he was sure - this was the best idea.

Make Chay hate him.

He loves the boy. He would never want to hurt him, but he knew it was better this way.

Chay had to be safe. That was all Macau wanted.
