We stood staring at each other for what felt like forever, his beautiful grey eyes raking over my body making me blush internally, drowning the noise around us and never failing to remind me of what I was missing. Then he began.

"Why?" I looked away braking eye contact at the inevitable question.

"I got scared" is all I said, truthfully before my tongue got tied. I peered my gaze towards the ground in shame.

"I've been worried, heart broken, confused... I- Aliyah I practically gave up on us" tears welled up in my eyes at his words, the emotion behind them was too strong to not get a reaction off. Did I really have that much impact on him? But I'm just a regular girl...

"but I decided to try one more time" he continued and I looked up. He strutted closer to me closing the distance between us, our faces were practically touching and my heart rate sped up.

"Friday.... I don't know if I can do this right here" I whispered backing away slightly, he noticed this and his jaw tightened.

He sighed and his face relaxed "fine... I'll be performing tonight.... Wait for me Aliyah.. we need to talk" I gave a sigh of my own. Should I?

"Please" he pleaded and I didn't have the strength to say no.

"Alright.." he nodded with a hopeful look on his face before he started backing away from me, a little hesitation showing in his step but he continued anyways until he disappeared into the crowd. I didn't know how to feel about this surprised interaction. I was a little nervous, excited and scared. More so scared because I didn't know what to expect.

Onika came back and I scolded her for secretly being in contact with Friday but I wasn't upset with her. She claims he didn't deserve what had happened to him and was just trying to help, though it wasn't her decision I still appreciated the effort because I did miss him.

We stood in the crowd and watched all the top artist of our era perform including Friday, he sang some of his most popular songs, including the one him and Chris brown were working on and a new one that I may think is directed to me. The lyrics went something like; The eyes are the windows to the souls but your eyes have been missing from my home.... The lonely winds howls in pain, the walls have no more secrets... Your love disappeared and my heart became livid. This is my poem.

After his performance that practically had me bawling my eyes out he messaged onika and told her where to meet him, though I was nervous I still found my feet moving on thier own. It started to make sense as to why onika got us VIP tickets because that's exactly where I'm going to meet Friday.

I walked across the field now becoming emptier by the minute as people filed out. I went to the back of the stage and practically under the arena, showing a lady and two bouncers my arm band along the way. I passed many rooms and finally stumbled upon the one that said Friday, again deja Vu.

The two guards standing at the door didn't make an effort to stop me because they recognize my face, plus you know. The arm band, so I proceeded.

I knocked and his deep voice echoed from behind the door. He knew it was me. When I went in he was seated in a lounge chair by the corner smoking a blunt and giving off this sensual vibe. His eyes were low as he stared into my soul.

"Hi" I whispered in greetings.

"What's up baby girl?" I blushed at his new found nickname and shook my head.

"I could ask the same for you, you wanted me here" he nodded.

"What happened?" He asked referring to the day I last saw his mom and tia. I shrugged giving him a hard time.
