Brother

All of us were packed and ready for a flight to Miami, it's been a year since I've been there so I was kinda excited.

Differently alot has happened for me within a year, I started my own consulting business with a little bit of financial advisory at the side and it's doing good, I've worked with lots of big names in the business industry. I started saving for my own home, I lived in a beautiful condo in upscale new York but I wanted my own. Flew my mom in and spent about a month with her, went on numerous dates with my dad and onika, got to know Kai alot more. Met business associates and just got to know myself over all. It was great.

The one thing I wished had happen for me was that I wished Friday and I's relationship had blossomed into something amazing, a year together would have been bomb but he was here now and I was grateful, let's just see how all of this plays out.

"Man am hungry" Nik whined stomping her feet like a child.

"You'll get food on the plane, right now we're late" she sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. Our flight number was called and we all rushed to the terminal, it was weird having bodyguards escort us around again and even more weird having people snap vid and pic of me. Again.

We made it just in time to board the flight, I was in the middle between Friday who had been silent all morning and a very hungry onika. I nudged his side and he leaned into me.

"You okay?" I couldn't see his eyes because they were concealed by shades but I could see the slight clench of his jaw.

"A little nervous" came his reply.

"Why?" He shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"I don't like flights" he mumbled, I tried my best to hide the smile that was threatening to form on my face.

"Really?" That question came out more strained than I wanted it to and he just stared at me.

"I'm sorry baby, Its just kinda surprising" his iconic smirk came back on his lips I'm sure because of the fact that I just called him baby.

"I just hate the little dips and stuff that the plane does" I pouted lightly and squeezed his arms in comfort.

The rest of the flight was calming and we all got some rest, the flight made it to Miami on time and everyone on the plane clapped up the pilot. Friday said his brother was waiting for us and also Kai, so we had a full squad for this dinner that were about to crash.

We collected our luggages and went outside in the warm weather of Miami city.

"There's my brother" Friday pointed, I craned my neck looking around until I spotted the tall gentleman who looked exactly like Friday standing by a range Rover in his army uniform.

"What's his name?" I whispered over to him.

"Aaron" onika spotted Kai and practically ran over to him. We made all greeted each other and made it over to Friday's brother.

They embraced in a tight hug and pulled apart to acknowledge the rest of us "hello everyone I'm Aoron" he greeted, we each outstretched our hands for him to shake and he did for onika and Kai but he pulled me in for a hug.

"Finally we meet" he said pulling away, I smiled.

"I've heard lots about you"

I blushed "good things I hope" to which he winked.

We filled into our respective vehicles and drove carefully to our hotel, a new one of course as the other had too many memories. We checked in and coupled up this time.

Friday was still silent for most of the activities and I was starting to think the flight had nothing to do with it.

We were currently unpacking our luggage in silence of course.
