best friend dinner

After Friday made up for what happened at the dinner, we chilled and talked and for the rest of the week went on multiple dates. He took me to a fair, a gala, we went on one more dinner date only this time was private, we even had time to squeeze in the club, we grinded on each other and the energy was amazing. I could safely say that Friday was my man and he was growing on me.

The way he looked at me everytime he saw me, how he spoke to me, how he dick'd me down, everything was just great and nothing like what I'd ever experienced with Matthew. He had told me about his story with tia, so far I've learnt that she's a model and an actress, I refrained from asking what movies or tv shows she came in in fear of me watching them already.

They met at the mayor's delux party and took a liking to each other, she looked great, spoke eloquently and was smart. They dated for two years, did everything together until he found out that she was trying to use her high connections to get control over him and his money, so he left.

I am jealous, she didn't cheat, he loved her, he didn't cheat, they were practically best friends. He says it's almost been another two years since they've broken up and he felt nothing but pity for her. She is successful and still wanted to manipulate people for her own benefits, an act that reminded him of his father and he didn't like that. She betrayed him.

After about two weeks of dating and getting to know each other, I gave him my trust and my body but my heart is still mine until further notice.

Onika and I was currently sitting in our hotel rooms doing the last of our packing, we are supposed to leave tomorrow morning bright and early.

"I am going to take the offer" I blurted, Nik paused mid pack and looked over at me with a raised brow.

"I thought you already did.."

"I didn't... I took all the time I could get before leaving to think about it" I said leaning back in the chair I was sitting in and packing, onika turned back to her suitcase and started zipping it up.

"I think it's a great opportunity and I'm glad your going for it..." She said smiling while putting her suitcase to stand up.

"Thanks best friend... I love you" we embraced each other in a hug and a memory flashed through my mind, about two weeks ago when onika confirmed her relationship with Kai I had said that we would eventually grow into the women we wanted to be and drift into our different worlds and now if felt like just that was happening. It was kinda scary but thrilling.

"I'm sorry boys came into the picture this vacation and took our time together away.." she trailed looking off to the side, I put my finger under her chin and turned her head to face me.

"First of all they're men-" she laughed "-and we will always have each other Nik no matter who comes into the picture, wether it be kids, boyfriend's, job opportunities, parents.. whatever! You will always be my best friend" I smiled and she pouted her lips.

"Thank you and I love you too... But I have to ask, you want kids?" I released her.

"I mean yeah eventually, they have to come with a package though... Amazing father, a home and a stable lifestyle.." she shrugged not really saying much on the topic which had my eye brows raising because onika loves kids.

"Don't you want kids?" I reiterated.

"Not anytime soon"

"But you do want them?" I pushed.

"No..." I didn't push it any further, it wasn't my place to do so, I loved kids and wanted them in my future, guess it's not the same for everyone and I respected that. Not because you love them means you want them.

Onika eventually went to take a shower and I for the hundredth time finished packing my suitcase. Finally I closed it and left out my tote back with a few change over clothes and hygienic stuff.

I sat on my bed and opened my laptop toggling over to the email app. I found the draft mail and hit send, confirming the termination of my position at the firm. I knew by doing that I was not entitled to any benefits but I didn't mind. I then took out my phone and texted Friday that I accepted his deal and to come pick up the documents this evening. He replied quickly with some happy emoji's and said ok.

Onika came out of the shower, dressed and ready for our best friend date, it's our last night together and we wanted to spend it properly and sober. I then went to take my shower and get ready. We both sported a a sleek dress, mine stopped mid calf and had splits at the each side and onika's swooped the floor and had one split. We had on our Bottega heels and a nice clutch.

We made reservations for a classy restaurant in the outskirts of Miami city, near Kendal, it was a four star Michelin restaurant with hibachi's and we were all for it. We piled into our our Uber because Kai wasn't available to drive us this evening. We pulled up about twenty after and was in awe at how beautiful it was.

It was a tall restaurant, two story's high and had floor to ceiling glass at the top floor, we went in and looked around, it was very elegant and you could see that it was the rich and wealthy that came here, good thing you can't see wealth based on looks unless your judging.

We went over to the concierge and told the nice lady our names, she escorted us to our tables and we got settled in.

"This is noice" onika said emphasizing on the nice, I smiled and nodded in agreement.

"Yes girl, am all for it... Oh shit we forgot to take pictures before we left!" I exclaimed in a hush manner, onika rolled her eyes.

"Beb we've been forgetting to take pictures this whole vacation... We might as well delete the ones we have now.. leave no traces of us here" I deadpanned at my best friends sarcasm.

"Haha very fu-"

"What are you doing here" I heard someone say from beside me, onika and I both snapped our heads in the direction of the noise at the same time and I saw that it was non other than Tia.

"Excuse me?" She needed to elaborate because it's either I'm deaf or I'm deaf.

"Started spending Friday's money already huh?" I snapped. I took my gobble of water up and thew it at her face catching the attention of on lookers, she flung her self around but it still went all over her dress. I stood up and onika stood up.

"You bitch!" She yelled and lounged at me, she grabbed my hair and started yanking it, onika lounged at her and started pounding punches in her back while I clawed at her face. I kicked her in the stomach and she released my hair giving us the opportunity to punch and kick her.

We heard gasped and whispers around us but we didn't care, suddenly I felt myself being lifted in the air but I was still fighting. I looked up and saw that three security guards was holding onto all three of us and speaking into their radio. This bitch should thank God the security guards came because that would have been it for her.

We were all breathing heavy and the guards escorted us into a back room. One for me and onika and the other for miss hoe.

"The police are on their way" one of them said them left the room and closed the door behind us.

"Well shit... At least we finished this vacation off with a bang" said onika and all I could do was laugh.
