The next day Marcus was woken up by one of the guys named Manny..........

Manny: [vigorously removes the blanket covering him and shouts] hey lil man, get up!!

He gets out of bed and is led to the living room to see Kingson.

Kingson: my lil man [smoking] good morning [smiles sarcastically] isn't that what y'all say?
Marcus: ..............
Kingson: [with a serious face] I said good morning prick!
Marcus: good morning, Kingson.
Kingson: you remember our deal and the rules?
Marcus: yes I do.
Kingson: here [gives him a tiny bag] there ten stacks in there, you know what to do.

He leaves to see Pralito.
[Knock at the door]
Pralito: [in a Spanish accent] who's there?!!
Marcus: its lil man I brought your stacks, I came for the package!
Pralito: [opens the door] wait right there. [He brings the drugs in small packages and gives him] those are twenty.
Marcus: [counts while Pralito sits] okay.

He walks out and quickly returns to Kingson.
Kingson: that's a good boy [laughs and taps him on the head] now get in.

This went on for months until one day Kingson received a call for a job he had to take. So he took all his guys leaving Marcus and the three women alone in the house.........

Woman 1: hey lil man what's your name?
Marcus: [looks at her rudely] piss off, Mrs Kingson
Woman 1: you know you don't have to be rude I'm just genuinely asking
Marcus: [doesn't even look at her] ................
Woman 1: my name is Amelia and just like you none of us want to be here, we're all here against our will doing what we can to avoid trouble.
Marcus: ................
Amelia: listen, I was just brought to this place like you. One moment I was in the street the next I woke up here.
Marcus: Marcus, my name is Marcus.
Amelia: okay. [She sat next to him]
Marcus: it's quiet out there what's happening?
Amelia: they went out for a job across the country
Marcus: [he's eyes widened in excitement] really?! [He stands up]
Amelia: [immediately calls out] where are you going?
Marcus: you just said they are gone so I'm leaving too.
Amelia: you can't
Marcus: why? You're in-charge now here to ensure.....
Amelia: no not that. It's not safe.......
Marcus: [scoffs] please..........
Amelia: why do you think the rest of us aren't leaving? Okay, sit down let me tell you my story so you understand what I'm saying and if after that you still want to leave, you can.
Marcus: you want to stall.......
Amelia: no, usually they take a minimum of a month they won't be back anytime soon.
Marcus: [sits] let's hear it.

Amelia: my parents and I were supposed to go see their hometowns unfortunately they died a few days before we could even leave, died in bus crash. So I had to find a way to get to my mom's hometown which was the nearest so I started working in restaurants and shop tills to earn some money. I was almost reaching my goal when one night on my way home, one of Kingson's guys came and kidnapped me, took me to the woods and abused me. I tried screaming and fighting, but nothing no one could hear; in fact even if I was in the street no one would help...........

Marcus: why do they do that?

Amelia: anyone that has ever tried will get involved so Kingson will torture you, kill your family or kill you. He then left me there and fled while I remained, bleeding heavily. I got up dragged myself back to the city and then everything went black. When I woke up I found myself here with Kingson next to me saying, "my queen you're awake." I was in shock then he told me not to worry or panic. I was attached to a drip when I woke up and he said that I had lost a lot of blood. I felt safe for a minute and believed that he may be a bad man but he actually has a good heart. I was really treated like a queen [scoffs] you know, he even took me for a pregnancy test and helped me abort paying all the bills and kept promising to f*** up the person that did that to me. Until one day I saw the man that abused me I immediately told Kingson. He assured me everything would be okay. That night he assembled all his men and told me to point out the man that did that, he was amongst them, and I pointed him out.
