November 1, 1991
At the first day of November, came the first Quidditch match of the year. It was also Harry's first ever Quidditch match, which terrified him.
The quintet were sat in the Great Hall where Harry was refusing to eat anything.
Ron: Here, take a bit of toast, mate. Go on
Still, Harry wouldn't eat.
Hermione: Ron's right, Harry. You're going to need your strength for today.
Ziad: Now, I don't know about you, but I feel like wiping that dumb smirk off Malfoy's face is a good thing.
Harry: I'm not hungry.
Max: Harry, you better eat if you plan on winning.
Harry: I said I don't want anything.
Max & Ziad: Actually, you said you weren't hungry.
Ziad and Max fist bump each while Hermione rolls her eyes and nudges them both on their ribs.
Hermione: Prats.
???: Good luck today, Potter.
The quintet to see Snape standing behind him.
Snape: Then again, now that you have proven yourself against a troll, a little game of Quidditch should be easy work for you, even if it is against Slytherin.
Snape then walks away limping, which didn't go unnoticed by the quintet.
Harry: That explains the blood.
Hermione: Blood?
Max: Listen. Last night, Harry and I were guessing that Snape let the troll in as a diversion to get to that trapdoor Cerberus was guarding, but he got himself bit. That's why he's limping.
Ron: Cerberus?
Ziad: The three-headed dog.
Ron: Oh.
Hermione: But why would anyone go near Cerberus?
Max: Because, like you said, Hermione, it's guarding something.
Harry: The day I went to Gringotts, Hagrid took something out of one of the vaults. He said it was Hogwarts business, very secret.
Max: And then, about 48 hours later, The Daily Prophet says that someone broke into Gringotts, but nothing was taken.
Ziad: So, what you're saying is...
Harry: Whatever it is that Hagrid took from that vault is the thing that Snape want. That's what he is after.
Ziad: So the main question is...
Hermione: What is it?
Nobody had an answer.
Suddenly, a screech was heard as Hedwig, Harry's owl, entered the Great Hall and dropped a large package in front of the quintet.
Hermione: Bit early for mail, isn't it?
She had a point. No other mail, package, or letter arrived at the other tables.
Harry: But I-I never get mail.
He had told them about the Dursleys, the muggle family that "raised" him, and how they pretty much abused him ever since he was an infant. Max was never as angry as she was when she heard that. The kid's been through hell his whole life, and he didn't do anything to deserve it.
