Back to the Burrow

August 24, 1994

It has been a few months since the third year at Hogwarts came to an end. Currently, Ziad is tossing and turning because he was having a nightmare. 

It was one of the visions he saw when he touched the crystal ball a few months ago.

Ziad Keera, Harry Potter, and Cedric Diggory were in a graveyard when Harry fell onto his knees, clutching his scar in pain.

Cedric: Harry, what is it? What's wrong?

Ziad: (in Arabic) Shit. (in English) Cedric, you have to go! Get back to the Cup NOW!

Before Cedric could ask why, a figure approached the trio. Cedric drew his wand and pointed it at the figure.

Cedric: Who are you?! What do you want?!

???: Kill the spare!

???: AVADA KEDAVRA!

A green bolt hit Cedric in the chest, and he fell backwards dead on the ground.

Ziad sat up quickly as he woke up in a sweat. He looked at his bed and saw Hermione sleeping there. She had spent the last few days at the Keera household. During that time, she and Ziad took care of Nibbles the Niffler, Ziad's cat Bast, and Leo the Griffin, who grew to be about as large as Sirius Black's dog Animagus form. She had also slept with Ziad in his bedroom, but Ziad offered to sleep on an air mattress on the floor while she slept on his bed.

Ziad looked at the clock and saw that it was 2:26 AM. He sighed as he got up and quietly got out of the bedroom to avoid waking Hermione up. He then went downstairs to the kitchen and got himself a glass of water. He drank the water a nd put down the cup as he took deep breaths, thinking about the nightmare he had.

???: Z?

Ziad turns around and sees Hermione behind him.

Hermione: What are you doing up so early?

Ziad: Had a nightmare.

Hermione: Oh. Have you had more? Or is that the first time?

Ziad: First time. It's probably nothing.

Hermione: Well, you need to get some sleep either way.

Ziad: (sighs) Yeah, probably a good idea.

Both Hermione and Ziad went back to the bedroom. Ziad was about to lie down on the air mattress before Hermione stopped him.

Hermione: How about you sleep up here for tonight?

Ziad: Are you sure? I don't want you to sleep on the floor.

Hermione: Well, we could share.

Ziad: I...I mean, if it won't make you uncomfortable.

Hermione: It won't.

Ziad then got up from the air mattress and laid down on the bed. Hermione then put her head on his chest and an arm around his waist.

Hermione: Good night, Z.

Ziad: Good night, Mione.

They both fell asleep.

Timeskip

After a few hours, Ziad and Hermione woke up from a very comfortable sleep. They then downstairs and had breakfast with the rest of the Keeras.
