September 1, 1994

About a week after the World Cup, it was time to return to Hogwarts. For some odd reason, Jennifer delivered dress robes for Ziad and Max. Ziad had an all-white suit, while Max had a silver-white dress.

Molly had also done the same with Harry and Ron. Although Ron complained about his dress robes, so Molly suggested that he go naked, then asked Harry and Ziad to take a picture if he does.

As they all went through the barrier, they were greeted by the red scarlet engine. Bill and Charlie were also there to see them off along with Molly.

Charlie: (hugs Ginny) I might be seeing you all sooner than you think.

Fred: Why?

Charlie: (smiles) You'll see. Just don't let Percy know I said anything...it's classified information, until such time the ministry sees fit to release it after all.

Bill: (smiles) I kind of wish I was going to Hogwarts this year.

George: Again, why?

Bill: You're going to have an interesting year. I might even get time off to come and watch it for a bit...

Youssef: What are you on about?

Before anyone could respond, the clock struck 11:00 and the train started boarding.

Hermione: (to Molly) Thank you for letting us stay, Mrs. Weasley.

Ziad: Yeah, thanks for everything.

Molly: Oh, it was my pleasure, dears. I'd invite you for Christmas, but...well, I expect you're all going to want to stay at Hogwarts, what with...one thing or another.

All the kids looked confused. Why was everyone being so secretive?

Ron: Mum! What do you three know that we don't?

Molly: You'll find out this evening, I expect. It's going to be very exciting. Mind you, I'm very glad they've changed the rules.

Max: What rules?

The train began to move, and eventually, it left the station.

Ziad, Max, Hermione, Harry, and Ron sat in their compartment. As Ron began talking about how Ludo Bagman wanted to mention what was happening at Hogwarts while his own mother didn't, Hermione shushed him and pointed behind him.

Draco: Father actually considered sending me to Durmstrang rather than Hogwarts, you know. He knows the Headmaster, you see. Well, you know his opinion on Dumbledore, the man's a mudblood lover- and Durmstrang doesn't admit that sort of riff raff. But Mother didn't like the idea of me going to a school far away. Father says Dumstrang takes a more sensible line than Hogwarts about the Dark Arts. Durmstrang students actually learn them, not the defensive rubbish we do...

Hermione stood up quickly and closed the compartment door to block out Draco's voice.

Hermione: (angrily) So he thinks Durmstrang would have suited him better, does he? I wish he had gone, we wouldn't have had to put up with him.

Harry: Durmstrang is another wizarding school?

Max: Yeah, but it's got a bad rep. Mainly because they focus greatly on the Dark Arts.

Ron: I think I've heard of it. Where is it? What country?

Hermione: No one knows, do they? There's been a lot of rivalry between all the magical schools. Durmstrang and Beauxbatons like to conceal their whereabouts so nobody can steal their secrets.
