The blight siblings were all waking back to the mansion. It was silent getting interrupted with whispers from Edric and Emira.
Edric-So mittens did you ask her out yet?
Amity's face turns a bright shade of red.
Amity-No
Emira-Well you should ask her to hang out or something.
Amity-I'll ask her out just later. When I'm ready.
Edric-Mittens you are ready.
Emira-Yeah, you just don't believe in your self.
Amity-I'll do it at school.
Edric+Emira-Really?
Amity nods realizing her mistake she just made. She starts to walk ahead of them ignoring their talking.
Edric-How are you gonna do it?
Emira-Are you gonna straight up ask?
Edric-I think you should ask her at the park.
Emira-That would be a good idea, what time?
Amity-Okay I've had enough of you guys
Amity uses her abomination magic to cover both of their mouths.
Amity-You guys need to learn how to shut up.
Edric wipes it off of his mouth.
Edric-Wow never knew Mittens could be so mean
Emira-I know right
Amity-You guys suck.
Edric+Emira-We already know.
POV-Luz
Once they walk out the door I close the door and walk up to my room laying down on my sleeping bag. I grab my phone from my night stand and start scrolling on TikTok. My account was pretty small but even then I don't do much on it. I hear a knock at my door.
Luz-Come in
I sit up and put my phone down.
Eda-Me and King will be going out to the market want to come with?
Luz-I'll come
I start standing up. Eda leaves my room and I get dressed. I put on a pair of ripped jeans and a white shirt with rainbow sleeves. I put on my shoes and walk to the front door.
Eda-There you are let's go
Eda opens the door and walks out
