Chapter -2

She excitedly went to Riya’s room who was busy in an important presentation as she applied for a half day leave tomorrow she has to submit it in morning only. Riya saw her sister’s excitement but thought it due to their Neha Di is coming tomorrow with Jiju. Niki wanted to share this news but before she can say anything mami joined them and she think to be quite in front of Mami. After dinner Dev and Riya both excused themselves saying they have urgent work to finish. A small smile came to Niki’s lips as she now know what kind of urgent work her brother do in night.

Next day Niki wake early than her regular time to share this news with Riya but She already left for office. When Sonakshi came Niki thought to share this news with her Sona Di but she was busy with her work than other day as Iswari wanted to finish her breakfast early before Neha and Ranveer came. After breakfast Dev was present so she didn’t get chance and then soon Neha arrived with Ranveer. 

Niki became busy with Neha and Sona was also busy as it is last few days of her here after just 3 days she will join hospital back. So she has to make Ishwari’s diet chart for one month. After one month she will come to check on her and then decide further. Dev is not happy with this development but eventually gave in after a promise from her that every day evening they will spend time like always, they will video chat in every morning as well as in night and she will visit his office in lunch time minimum twice a week. 

Niki was dying to share the news she knew with someone desperately but was unable to do so firstly Neha’s two day stay secondly mami or Ma’s constant present and then lastly Sonakshi’s last day at Dixit house. 

Ultimately after 5 days she got a chance to tell Riya. Dev came home after having his dinner out so they also had their dinner earlier that day. After Dev came back he met Ishwari and then went back to his room straight. Mami was also went to sleep early as she had a fever. Niki went to Riya’s room with two cup of hot chocolate. When Riya saw hot chocolate in Niki’s hand she understood she wants to share something important that’s why she herself made it in this time. She kept her laptop beside and patted a place next to her for her younger sister. 

Riya asked “now tell me what you wanted to tell me from last few days?” Niki sarcastically said “So you noticed that I want to say something to you desperately but you didn’t bother to give time?” Riya tried to pacify her little sister and she did as she wanted to tell the news. After some time she dramatically told “You don’t belive what I came to know few days back. I went to hide Neha Di’s present in Bhai’s room for surprise..” she was cut by a socked and nervous Riya “What you went to Bhai’s room to hide Neha Di’s present?? Are you mad? You will be in trouble if Bhai or Ma came to know about that. Wait now I understand you are in trouble for that and you want my help to clear this mess…” Niki was irritated at this point “Off nobody knows about that and that’s not the topic what I was doing in Bhai’s room but what I heard in Bhai’s room is important.” Riya was little curious by the time as she guessed Niki must witness a conversation of Ma and Bhai regarding them so she asked “what did you heard?” Niki answered “I heard a phone conversation of Bhai with his girlfriend.” Riya’s moth hang open and formed a O shape after hearing this. Finally she composed herself and said “are you ok? From when you start hallucinating?” Niki need to tell whole conversation to convince her that it was not her imagination but Riya couldn’t believe her completely. So they planned to venture their brother’s room in their mother’s absence to find any trace of being in relationship.
