The sunshine invaded the window and fell upon the two figures that were tangled together in bed. It illuminated their skins, making them look more like angels than humans as they slept peacefully, however, the yellow-haired one was soon disturbed by the brightness and twisted his facial muscles into an ugly scowl. The light made him uncomfortable enough that he couldn’t rest, so he opened his eyes and scanned his surroundings before they landed on the angel-like person beside him, causing a small smile to crawl into his face.
He reached out for Beomgyu's face and brushed some of his hair out of it, earning a soft groan from the other and a pair of sleepy brown orbs. They were beautiful, like amber; bright and warm, and he could stare at them all day.
"How long have you been staring at me?", Beomgyu asked in a sleepy voice, making the older beam softly.
For the first time, Yeonjun wanted to live... He wanted to live for Beomgyu, so he could see his beautiful face every day.
Maybe it would be better to start treatment so he could win some more time to be beside his lover.
"I just woke up", he simply replied with a shy smile and moved away from the younger boy.
As if sensing what he was doing, Beomgyu quickly grabbed Yeonjun's arm and pulled him close again before resting his head in the crook of his neck, his hand still holding the older's naked body tightly. "Don't go...", he whined like a child, clinging onto the other man like a koala.
Yeonjun smiled down at him, caressing the smaller boy's back softly while watching him. How lucky he was to have fallen in love with this cute boy...
"We need to go to Busan today, did you forget?", Yeonjun said as he tangled his fingers in the other's raven hair, "I need to take shower. You can join me if you want"
Beomgyu grumbled and looked up at him with puppy eyes, "I'm tired... I'd rather sleep some more until you're done"
"Okay", Yeonjun smiled and was about to get up from the bed but then he saw how Beomgyu's expression suddenly changed into a concerned one, his face going a bit pale.
"Hyung, your nose..."
"Shit..."
Yeonjun instantly understood what he meant, so he sat upright and held his nose while tilting his head back to stop the blood flow. Beomgyu also sat up abruptly and reached for the nightstand, picking a few napkins from the drawer and gently wiping the blood off of Yeonjun's face before wrapping it around his nose. His face looked worried and Yeonjun could notice that.
Beomgyu's hands were shaking slightly as he carefully held Yeonjun's face as if fearing that he'll slip away any second.Yeonjun smiled reassuringly and reached out for his face, patting it softly. "Don't worry. I'll be fine"
"Is it because of the last night?", Beomgyu asked worriedly after looking at him carefully.
"I don't think so", Yeonjun said, not wanting the younger to feel bad because of him, "Don't worry about it, ok?"
Beomgyu pulled away the napkin from his nose to inspect whether it was still bleeding or not. Luckily, the blood flow had ceased. "It's stopped", he mumbled and wiped the bloodstains from Yeonjun's skin. His touch was tender and soothing and the way his lips formed every single word had Yeonjun breathless. This boy really knew exactly what to do when he needed help.
"Are you okay?", Beomgyu asked after putting away the dirty napkins, taking a look at the older's face which looked paler than the previous day.
