The deadly dark sky kept covering them with its cold blanket as they moved through the lightened streets by car. A heavy, uncomfortable silence had settled between them and neither of them could dare to utter a word since Yeonjun had decided to talk to them once they were home because his head was nothing, but a bundle of confusing thoughts at the moment and he needed to clear it. Beomgyu was sitting on the other edge of the passenger seat, at the window and staring outside with thoughtful orbs which would reflect the lights of the street lamps, causing his eyes to glow in a beautiful, dazzling colour.
Even though there was calmness and quietness sank in the distressing atmosphere around him, his heart and mind wouldn't stop troubling him, a disturbing vexation kept fretting his heart. He was trying so hard, willing to find the clue, but he couldn't explain the feelings Yeonjun was causing him. Something was making him feel spiritually close to him, but he didn't know what that was. And his face... it looked so familiar, especially, his eyes, only if they weren't so cold. The grim and shuddering familiarity, which was oozing from him, was smothering his heart with a painful sickness and he didn't even have a remedy to cure it. He could feel how the older's orbs would land upon him sometimes, his intense gaze making his skin burn and he could feel a hint of annoyance radiating through his body, even though he was supposed to be grateful that Beomgyu had saved him. Something about his way of staring directed at him was causing Beomgyu to assume that the older wasn't seeing him for the first time, unlike him, or maybe so he thought.
"I think we need to go to the hospital first", Soobin spoke from the driver's seat since he was concerned about Yeonjun's injuries, but since the older male insisted, he still headed straight home, plus, it was dangerous now if they visited any hospital since Namjoon would be looking for them already and he wouldn't definitely forget to check clinics, in the first place.
Beomgyu kept squirming in his place, not finding peace as his eyes were fixed on the bright city outside the car. A terrible discomfort kept disturbing his mind and he even thought about jumping out of the moving car a couple of times. He didn't want to go with them, but he wasn't trying to escape either, because there was some invisible force keeping him in his place and not letting him leave. It wasn't the fear of those people or their guns, it was something else which was coming from inside of him. He was curious about what Yeonjun had to say to him, or what was going around his mind, and he wished he could read the other's thoughts. It was obvious that there was something weird about him, something which was making him feel like he was a very close and dear person to him. Even though he wanted to hate his guts, some warmth was still crawling upon his skin whenever he caught a glimpse of the boy.
Taehyun was still sleeping when they arrived home since the lights were still switched off inside and outside the house and not a single noise was coming out of it.
Everyone started shuffling as soon as Soobin stopped the car since they were getting ready to get outside and the door of the driver's seat thrashed open immediately, Soobin jumped out of it and ran to the passenger's seat to help Yeonjun out who had already opened his door and now was struggling to get out without hurting himself, making a grimace at his every move. His face was too pale and Soobin could notice it very well which was making him concerned. The older male looked like a ghost even with those wounds and bruises that were decorating his face so awfully and painfully and some nameless sadness was lying down in the taller male's heart. His arm found its way around Yeonjun's waist as he leaned his own body down to his height level and helped him get out of the car safely, but as soon as Yeonjun set his foot on the ground, no matter how much he tried to fight off his weakness and stay awake, his eyes still rolled back and he dropped unconscious in the younger's arms after his knees collapsed underneath him. Fortunately, Soobin managed to catch him on time, so he wouldn't hit his head, his body bending to the ground from the older's weight.
