"Come in".Oliver a valid member of the staff walks in,"Mr.Zerulu,it's good to have you back", he chuckles.
"Good to see you Oliver"i reply, as he strokes is velvet leather jacket.
Oliver is atleast in his fifties, he has always helped out around here,making sure everything is in order and everything is reported to me.
"Your father has being more curious about the company's profit these days more than usual",he said casually.
"Well that's no news,he's probably thinking of opening a 6million dollar casino as we speak,but as we all know that money doesn't belong to him",i turned to him with a smile as i calmly walked to the window with my hands inside my pockets,now staring at the beautiful view.
He giggled a bit anxious "It's just tha- ". "Oliver ",i cut him off. "Let me worry about my dad,I'm sure there's plenty of stuff around here to be done".He nodded and walked towards the door as Nior came in,greeting him in the process.
Nior is my work assistant. He is in charge of staff information. Typical rich man. Assistants for every occasion. Classic.
"Good morning Boss,glad to have you back" .He stood beside me,facing the window,also checking out the view,with his clipboard in his hand.
"Good to see you too Nior,any updates". "Yes actually,we have two new staff, both coming from universities of excellence ,I hear they are highly educated, might be good for business".
"Mm,I hope so". "They are looking forward to meeting you."
"Ofc,but I'm afraid i may not have that time on my hand right now,in a few hours I'll be leaving after I'm finish with these paper work".
"Okay boss,I'll leave you to it",he gave me a nod then walked towards the door.
"Tell Lea,to bring me some coffee,will you". "Sure boss". I took a seat around my desk staring at all the paper work. Résumés, slips, papers to be signed.
I have lunch with Alexis in a few hours,I hope I make it on time.
Alexis is a family friend always happy to help with business as long has she gets something in return ,she's all about trades.
I think she has a soft spot for me, so if we're lucky enough, we won't have to worry about any crisis. I've known her since we were kids but she was never really my type, her on the other hand couldn't get enough.
