kas- is equivalent to an 'ing', 'y' and 'ness' ending word unless the word you're using has an adjective ending in y (eg. messy) you don't need to add 'kas' but instead 'kadul'.

for instance, 'messy' would be fidkas; messiness would then be 'fidkadul'.

the word 'happiness' is simply 'maelakas' since the word 'happy' cannot be used without the 'y' already in place.

the word 'happily' however is 'maelaka' when used as an adjective.

not all words ending in 'ing' have 'kas' at the end, mostly due to old morian.

traditional ivunamorian used 'kidun' instead of kas and not all words were reevaluated overtime.
