Despite being athletic Sophie struggled to keep up with Klaus and Stefan. She groaned as they were once again, further than her.
Stefan was carrying an unconscious Ray in the mountains.
"Are you okay? Is Ray getting heavy?" Klaus, teasingly asked, looking at Stefan.
"I'm fine" Stefan deadpanned.
"You sure about that? You know, we've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water or a little sit-down.." Klaus teased, quite enjoying the fact he was annoying the vampire.
"You know, I get that we're, uh, we're stuck together, but if we could maybe just skip the chitchat, it'd be great" Stefan faked a laugh. Sophie rolled her eyes. Stefan was brooding the whole summer and it was getting annoying. The whole time they'd been in these mountains no one said a word which bored the hell out of Sophie.
"So much brooding. Your self-loathing is suffocating you, my friend" Klaus said with amusement.
"Maybe it's 'cause I'm a little tired of hunting werewolves. We've been at it all summer" Stefan complained. Sophie agreed with that. They had been looking for a pack for long and it was boring and tiring. Normally Sophie would enjoy free time, no school and no stupid homework.
She would be at a spa and hanging out with her friends. She was wasting her whole summer with Klaus.
"Dumb mountains" Sophie mumbled. She kept muttering words as they walked.
Klaus looked to his side seeing no Sophie. He looked back and saw her mumbling behind.
"Hurry it up love, would you?" He said in a teasing voice.
"Hurry it up love, would you" Sophie mimicked, glaring at Klaus. The Hybrid let out an amused chuckle. Sophie finally caught up and stood next to Stefan.
"Why don't you carry me instead of Ray" She complained in annoyance. Stefan chuckled at the tired girl.
"i should be at a dessert shop right now, not in these stupid mountains" Sophie groaned.
"Love, i promise after this i'll take you to any dessert place you want" Klaus promised and she huffed.
"Remind me why we have been in these mountains for decades?" Sophie asked Klaus who smirked.
"Why don't you see?" Klaus said and looked forward, "Thanks to our pal Ray, we found ourselves a pack" He smirked and Sophie looked around at the many people.
Sophie felt pity as they all seemed so happy. Now they were gonna become Klaus' minions.
Stefan walked forward to the group who looked towards him. He set down a still unconscious Ray on the floor. A woman ran towards him, crouching down.
