Sophie said to the nail artist that sat there with a smile, all her equipment by her side. The woman nodded and started working on her nails. As Sophie typed away on her phone she got a call from Elena. Her phone buzzed loudly as she apologized meekly for the noise. She answered with a smile as she put the phone onto her ear.
"I saw your story and am in shock" Elena spoke into the phone as she breathed out a laugh. Sophie knitted her brows in confusion as she doubled checked her Instagram story seeing what was wrong with it. She was sure it was a pretty picture of herself. She squinted her eyes, inspecting the picture, analyzing the littlest details before shaking her head.
"I don't see what's wrong. i thought I posed quite good. I thought my outfit was pretty cute to be honest" Sophie sheepishly said, looking down at her outfit, feeling suddenly conscious of what she was wearing. Was it the skirt? She thought it was quite cute..
"No no your outfit is beautiful. I'm talking about the fact that you're at the most expensive nail salon in our area. Did you know this nail salon is so popular that many popular singers even go here to get theirs done. The nails there are hundreds of dollars" Elena rambled on as she rubbed her head wondering how Sophie didn't even notice.
"Huh? Really? I just thought the sign was pretty so i went in. My nail design is..," - Sophie looked at the nail artist that was currently doing her nails, taking some pretty crystals for design, - "Sorry how much is this design?" Sophie asked the woman who gave a glance to her before resuming her work, "$100" She replied simply making Sophie shrug before talking back onto the phone.
