Part 6

The next week Eddie had hellfire and Anna had convinced me to go to an after game party. I was pretty excited because I had just came back from a doctors appointment and they had told me my
Collar bone had healed pretty fast and that I could go with out my sling if I wanted too. So I was getting ready with a mix tape Eddie had made me playing in the background. Standing in front of my closet bouncing along to some Thin Lizzy song trying to figure out what to wear when my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answer placing the phone between my ear and the shoulder

"Sarah! Hey. I have a problem. I forgot my outfit to change into at my house and I'm already at the game. Can you bring me something to change into? I don't want to wear my uniform all night."

"Um ya. I'm in my closet now trying to figure out what to wear."

"Oh? What are you going to wear."
"I was thinking a black mini skirt, and my black lace crop top with a Jean jacket." She was silent for a moment.

"You don't own a Jean jacket." She says confidently.
"Who's Jean jacket will you be wearing?" She asks with suspicion in her voice. Looking over my shoulder to my vanity chair I look at Eddie's jacket that he never took back from last weekend.

"Would this be "we got assigned together." Yet your with him almost everyday."  She says as I slip on my black mini skirt. I don't trust my self to say a word. Over the last two weeks I had developed a huge crush on Eddie. All the teasing Innuendos or lingering looks. His tender dark brown easily gave my butterflies.

"Don't try and conceal it. I've been your best friend since middle school. I know when you like a guy. Spill." Before I could even stop myself my voice betrayed me.

"Oh honey. He nearly kills me with those brown eyes. He makes me dizzy with those looks. Oh And when he flirts, I get a thrill shooting down my spine." I say with a sigh causing her to squeal.

"The freak?" She whispers and laughs.

"He's not. Don't call him that." I snap.
"But oh he makes me laugh so much. He is so fun to be around and when he..." I trail off thinking about when he puts in arm around my shoulders and pulls me close. I start blushing and cover my face with my hands.

"When he what?!" She ask, but knock at my windows makes me jump. Looking over my
Eyes widen. It was like talking had summoned him.

"I have to go." I say into the phone. I barely hear her telling me to remember the clothes before I hang up the phone. Throwing open the window I lean down to greet him our faces inches away from each other.

"I thought you had Hellfire?" I ask and he raises an eyebrow.
"It ended early. Who were you talking to and they have you blushing. That's my job." He teases.

"Anna."
"Oh so it's not a who but what." He puts i finger on his chin and taps.
"Can I come in?" He asks. Moving aside so he can climb threw. Going to my closet then to the bathroom to change my top.

"Are you getting ready to leave?" He asks
"Yea a party. Want to come with me?" I ask as I open the door. He was standing by my radio looking at my tapes. Hearing the door he looks up, eyes widening he drops a few tapes that were in his hands and his face starts to blush he drops down to pick up the tapes.

"Ugh ya sure." He says standing back up face still red.
"Although not the usual people i party with." He says as I put on his jacket and he tilts his head.
"That's my jacket."

"So?" He just smiles at my answer. Turning to my vanity I spray some perfume then go to my closet to grab some clothes for Anna.
"Ready?" I ask him and see him snap out of a trance before he nods.

I hadn't planned on going to Sarah house after hellfire, and I certainly had planned on going to a vipers nest of a party. But when she had come out of that bathroom in that outfit my heart stopped and when it started again it was doing double the work. In that outfit she could ask me for anything and I would willing do it for her. I wouldn't admit to anyone but she tended to make my heart race often. She was beautiful. I loved it when she blushed, because when she did her ice blue eyes would sparkle. She was so easy to be around, laughs and jokes flowed between us naturally.
