"Sarah Elizabeth Parker." They call my name and I start walking across the stage. Even though they had asked for the crowd to hold their applause, there was a loud whoop and clapping. Grabbing my diploma I look out to the crowd and I see Eddie standing on the bleaches clapping and hollering. My mother was giving him a side eye.
"That's my girl!"

Walking threw the crowd afterwards to find Eddie and my parents I was blinded by flashes of a camera.
"Smile! Sarah!" My mom says snapping another picture. My dad coming up and giving me a hug.
"Congratulations, ladybug." Eddie was standing behind them, hands in his pocket but beaming.
Holding my hands out he wraps me into a hug.

"Mom snap a picture of me and Eddie." She does what I ask but with a sigh. She has accepted I was never getting back together with mark and slowly was accepting Eddie. He was growing on her.

"I'm proud of you baby." He says kissing my cheek.
"Thank you babe." I smile.
"Mom I'm going to go overs Eddie alright."
"Alright." She says with a tight smile. We practically run to the van and take off.

Having changed out of my cap, gown and dress I had stolen one of Eddie's shirts and sprawled out on his bed while he played his guitar. He was currently trying to master the solo to an Iron Maiden song.

"Eddie. Could you give me an tattoo?" He abruptly stops playing, looking over his shoulder he smiles.

"Why? Want me to just take you to a shop?" Getting up and crawling behind him, wrapping my arms around him.

"Because I want you to do it. Something small. That no one knows about but you." He raises an eyebrow and sets his guitar down.
"Oh? What other thoughts do you have?" He say crawling over me pinning me to the bed.

"Maybe a little heart. I figured let you pick the placement."

"Oh I know the exact spot." He says whispering in my ear.

"You know that little spot I love to kiss that makes you jump." His thumb rubbing over the spot on my ribs just below my breast. With a kiss he then stands ups gathering supplies. When he came back he was all giddy laying everything out.

"Take off my shirt." He says with a wink causing me to laugh. Taking off his shirt I lay back and get comfortable.
"Hands above your head." He tells me.
"Eddie tattoo."
"I know I know I'll behave my self." He says as he starts to clean the area throughly. Sitting back before he starts, he tells me we can stop at any moment if it becomes too much.

When the first Hiss of pain left my lips, he started to talk asking me questions to get my mind off it, his eyes never leaving his work, so concentrated.
"What do you want to do this summer? We need pack in a lot of time together before school starts up again."

"I don't know. Think I can convince my mom I'm "staying with Anna" all summer." He laughs and says doubt it.
"She is already suspicious of me. She will be happy when fall comes and you go to
College." He adds with a bit of bite.
"Eddie, I'm still coming home every other weekend. It's not like we won't ever see each other again." I remind him.
"I know." He finally looks Away from his hands to my eyes and smiles.
"It's going to be a long year." He says.
"Yea, but it's going to be your year." I say. brushing hair away from his eyes, and he smiles up at me.
" '86 baby."

I unlocking my dorm room and throwing my keys on the desk, I start rushing around throwing clothes into a duffel bag. I hadn't had time to pack before my shift at the restaurant so throwing clothes in bag would just have to do. I wanted to get on the road and be back in Hawkins as soon as I can. I had missed the last couple weekends due to some major tests but I wasn't missing the opportunity to spend spring break with Eddie. So soon as my last shift was finished I rushed home. Luckily I had a single dorm, so throwing stuff around at night wouldn't wake any one up. Looking up I see I have an unplayed voicemail. Clicking play I continue my packing.

"Hey Sarah..." I stop dead in my tracks. It was Eddie but something in his voice sent a shiver down my back.

"Listen, don't come home. There is some major shit happening here. I wish I could tell you. But I can't there is something I have to do. Just believe me when I say, stay there you'll be safe. And please what ever you hear about me don't believe it. I love you. Forever yours faithfully." Hearing the click I wanted to be sick.

What was going on on Hawkins that he wouldn't want me home. What would I hear about him.
Making a decision I grab his leather jacket he gave me when I left for college to "remind me of him."  He insisted I take it saying he was going to get another. Grabbing my keys and walking out the door. To hell with my safety. I was going to him. Come hell or high water.
