CARTER POV.

As I sit down at my desk, I think about what Brittney could be doing. So I look at the security app on my phone. She didn't know I installed cameras on the inside of the house last night. So I could see her every move. I just remember her saying she was lonely. That made me wonder if she was cheating. I already wasn't my very best to her so it was a possibility.

I watch Brittney as she goes into my suitcase and I see that she pulls something pink out and put it on the floor. I couldn't believe my assistant's things got mixed in with my things. So much for keeping me cheating on the low. Whatever, I'll just have my assistant buy Brittney something. Brittney knows I love her. I don't want anything to do with these hoes out here.

I put my phone down and look at my computer.

As I reply to emails I begin to realize that Brittney was on the phone with someone while she looked into my things. I wonder who that could've been.

I pull my son's iPad out of my bag. He had it this morning when I took him to school. I didn't want it getting stole or him getting in trouble at school with it so I put it in my bag. Brittney's Apple ID is attached to it, so I can see who she calls or who calls her.

The number listed wasn't saved on her phone. So I was curious. I click on the number and it begins to ring.

"Hello?", a deep voice on the other end of the phone said.

I made a face. I didn't expect a man to answer. Brittney didn't have any men in her life.

"Who is this?", I asked.

"Sir, you called my number.", he said.

"Because my wife called your number", I replied with some frustration in my voice.

"Well, I'm sorry sir, I get 50 calls a day. You gotta be more specific than that", said the guy.

"Brittney.", I said. I knew he knew exactly who I was talking about.

"I don't know a Brittney...although someone did just call me, they had the wrong number. I hope that helps. I have clients to assist. I have to go", said the guy.

The call ends and I stare at my desk for a moment.

"No. She ain't cheating on me", I said to myself. "Or is she? No. I'm too good to her for her to cheat. So who is this fool?"

I start to call Brittney but my assistant walks into my office.

"Hey, you", she said in a flirtatious voice.

"What's up?", he replied as I sat back and looked at her figure.

"You ready to go to the meeting?", she asked.

"Oh, yea. That's right. I almost forgot", I said as he stand up.

"Well it's a good thing you have me then", she said with a smirk.

"Yea it is", I said. "and by the way, you gotta do a better job at packing our things, she saw something of yours that I'm not too pleased with."

My assistant looked a little frantic. "I'm sorry. We were in such a hurry to get home all of a sudden, I didn't know. I'm sorry. What was it?"

"Don't worry about it. I'll handle it. Just don't let it happen again", I responded as we walked out of my office.

BRITTNEY POV.

I hate it when Grayson is at school. I get really lonely while everybody is gone. When I get lonely, I begin to think about my life, and when I think about my life I get depressed. When I get depressed, I talk to my therapist. We're doing a zoom call.
