Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in-- oh, goddamn it, this is not working!

I squirmed uncomfortably in my seat next to Terrance, trying extremely hard not to stare at him.

But it was just so haaarrrd.

He was ridiculously good looking, I mean ridiculous, his jawline, his golden brown hair, his unfairly long eyelashes, his deep chocolate  brown eyes, and his cheeky lopsided smile, all made me wanna take a picture of him and hang it up in my room, where I could kiss it everyday.

Goddamn, he was gorgeous.

I shifted about my seat again, trying to angle myself at a position where I could stare at him as much as I'd like, without seeming creepy.

Yeah.. not working.

"Uhm, Hayden? Are you alright?" Terrence asked, "You seem kinda--"

"Antsy," Charlotte finished for him, "Are you sure you're alright? I told you not to order that extra large moccha latte."

I shrugged taking another sip of that same moccha latte, "I'm fine, sorry, I think there's something in my shoe."

Nice save.

Terrence looked down under the table, "Chuck Taylors, huh? Nice."

I swear, I turned redder than a stoplight.

"Uhm, thanks," I said cheesily, which triggered a small chuckle and a slight nod from him.

I smiled unconsciously, this guy really made me nervous, I had butterflies in my tummy from just sitting next to him, imagine what kissing him would be like.

"What?! No, no, Hayden, down girl, you just had your heart crushed, now is not the best time to be thinking of kissing random hot strangers," I said to myself internally.

"Uhm, could you guys excuse us for one second," I said getting up, "Charlotte, could you please come with me?"

She nodded and got up from her seat, following me to the restrooms.

Once we were inside, I made sure we were alone, before I locked the door. Then I turned to her.

"What?"

"You know exactly what?" I glared at her, "You set me up!"

"Yeah, on a date, with an extreme hottie," she smirked.

"On a blind date, with an extreme hottie," I corrected, "You could have at least warned me!"

"Would you have come if I did?"

I paused, "No...?"

"See, I'm doing this for your own good," she beamed.

"I just went through a breakup three days ago, dating someone else is not the best idea," I sighed.

"Well, I think you should get over it, Shaun definetly seems to have gotten over you. So, its time for a little payback, besides, have you seen Terrence?! The guy does things to your insides when he winks at you, when he winks! Don't you dare deny it, "Ms. Nice Chuck Taylors"," she deadpanned.
