"I'm not doing this."

"Awwh, come on, take one for the team please?"

"No fucking way," I hissed.

"Look." Charlotte sighed, "I would do it myself but I don't trust you enough to sneak out without screwing up."

"Oh. In that case, NO!" I said, slightly offended.

"Ughhh.." Charlotte groaned as she sunk to the floor, "you know, the faster we do this the faster you get home."

I paused for a minute and sighed, "Fine."

"Yay!" Charlotte bounced up off the floor,"Wait, wait," she said, as she popped off the first two buttons of my nightshirt, "Hmm," she said contemplating whether that was enough cleavage to distract the damn cashier while she snuck out with some damn snicker bars and itching powder.

"Maybe one mor-"

I slapped her hand away, "Dont give away the farm!"

"Ow! Sorry, Jeez!" She whined, "You didn't HAVE to hit so hard."

"Oh, I know." I said, shooting her daggers.

I began walking over to the cashier in the most seductive way I possibly could, of course until Charlotte stopped me.

"What are you doing?" she asked, somewhat horrified.

"My sexy walk," I stated.

Her eyes widened, "Oh God, I shouldn't have forgotten my purse, we're going to jail again."

"It isn't THAT bad," I defended.

"As your best friend who would never lie to you, I beg you to never do that again unless you WANT people to think you have herpes."

I frowned, "Fine, but how am I supposed to distract this guy then?"

"Just be casual, you know? Flirt a little," she shrugged.

"I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FLIRT."

She laughed, "Good one."

I glared at her.

"Oh, wait... You aren't kidding, are you?"

I shook my head solemnly.

"What about Terrence? How do you guys-"

"He does the flirting. I do the laughing. We both do the kissing," I deadpanned.

She sighed, "Well, fine. Just go up to him and make small talk, can you do that?"

"Yes," I scoffed, even more offended.

"But try highlighting your cleavage!" she whisper-yelled as I walked away.

I gritted my teeth, "alright!" I whisper-yelled back.

"And no nerd talk!"

"Got it!"

"Oh oh, and no-"

"Charlotte, shut up!" I growled.

Okay, okay I can do this, right? Yeah, of course, If I don't we're going to jail again... And mom will probably murder me... Yeah, I've got this in the bag... Right?

I walked over to the cashier, a sweaty, pale kid who was probably a few years older than me, but with the glasses and the unflattering polo shirt, looked a lot younger.

"Heyyyyy..." I said awkwardly.

In the background, I swear I could hear Charlotte facepalm.

***

I walked out of the store sheepishly, heading towards Charlotte. She leaned against a wall, and ripped open a snickers bar, "Was that as painful as it looked?"

"How painful did it look?"

"Along the lines of receiving an enema." she deadpanned.

"Then yes," I sighed, grabbing a snicker bar.

"And I thought you were the awkward one," Charlotte laughed, "He still out?"

"Yup." I nodded, "Out cold."

Yes, the kid fainted. Not because I was just THAT hot, but because while I was trying (and failing) to flirt with the guy, Charlotte came up from behind me, grabbed my ass, gave me a big ol' smooch (on the cheek, totally harmless), winked at the dude, and said something along the lines of, "Babe, come on, don't keep me waiting, and bring your friend, he's cute."

You can imagine how a sexually frustrated teenage boy would react to that.

So yeah.. He fainted.

"You should thank me, I did you a favour," she gloated, "It was painful watching you two attempt to flirt with each other."

"Ha, I'm gonna need more than that," I scoffed, "As I recall, you were the one that got me in this mess in the first place."

"Well, you should still thank me."

"For what?"

"For the best kiss of your life," she smirked.

I looked at her straight in the eye and shrugged, "Meh, I've had better," I said before walking off towards where we parked the bike.

"Wait, What??! Hayden get back here!" Charlotte yelled as she ran after me.

***

"How the heck do you do this?" I whisper-yelled to Charlotte.

"Its not that hard you big baby, I do it all the time," She whisper-yelled back.

I was having a tough time climbing up the wall to get to the room to my window, you know, the window Charlotte uses as her own personal doorway.

I finally managed to squirm my way up to the window, climbed through and lay flat on the floor, breathing like I just ran 5 miles.

"Oh god," Charlotte groaned as she climbed in after me, "its not that bad."

"Must. Breathe. Lungs. Not. Working."

"Ugh. Drama queen."

"It was a huge wall, Charlotte, and I'm not used to breaking in through windows, I usually just use the door, you know, like a regular person."

She ignored that comment, "Sooo... What do you wanna do now?"

I looked at her like she was crazy, "I don't know, maybe sleep? Since its 4:30 in the morning and we have school tomorrow?"

"Sleep is for the weak."

"Well then, consider me pathetic," I said, crawling off the floor and into bed.

"Oh, come on, Hayden, Let's watch Netflix and Chill."

I promptly lifted my head from my pillow to glare at her.

"Yup, I heard it too, I'm leaving," she said heading towards the window.

I didn't really know how to end this chapter, I'm sorry if it seemed abrupt. I know it was a little short. I'm having a hard time seeing where past me wanted this story to go, but I promise it'll get better :)

Also, let me know what you guys think about the new cover, should I keep it or go back to the old one.

Till the next chapter, little cookiebots.
