Lucas pov

We had arrived in Dubai two days ago both of our families were here which I was excited about as they don't really spend time with each other as my family are in Chester and Leah's are in Milton Keynes. We have a massive group chat which we are constantly chatting in and keeping each other updated which is nice. Some of the times that we get to spend together are always the best because half of the time alcohol is involved, well not much for Leah but she lets her hair down now and then. 

Which is precisely why we are on this holiday, she has been so busy with the tournament that I thought it was best for us to have a huge family holiday and we can wind down and enjoy it and the best part of Dubai is that there is no paparazzi so we can literally enjoy this holiday without everyone knowing where we are. 

We were all playing football on the beach, I say all of us it was Me, Leah, Dad, Jacob, Luca and James.  James and I buddied up together as he was diagnosed when he was younger with Stargardt Disease meaning when he plays football he couldn't see unit the ball was 5 yards away we also had Luca on our side which I wasn't happy about because I still don't fully trust him yet but if Gem is happy then I am my team were currently winning our little game which was surprising considering they were all basically professionals on the other team. Dad was defiantly going easy on us. I was running toward our 'goal' about to pass the ball to Luca when I was soon knocked to the ground and someone landing on my stomach when I looked down I saw the familiar long blonde hair "Really did you have to knock me down" I said "What I had an opportunity so I took it" she said "Well at least I can say i have been on the other end of your famous tackles" I said "Oh please that was me being nice, you haven't seen the real stuff yet" she said "I don't think I want to you can cause some damage" I said. We both got up and we agreed we had enough of the game, we walked back to the sun loungers. 

I laid on one of the sun loungers Leah laid beside me and wrapped her arm around my waist with my arm around her shoulder "I am so glad we came on this holiday babe" Leah said "Me to,I mean Ibiza was nice but this is just something relaxing, we haven't got Ella forcing drinks down our throats" I said and Leah laughed "Let's be honest it was just you" she said "That is true" I replied "Do you two have anything planned for tonight" Amanda asked "Yeah I have something planned" I said and Amanda went wide eyed remembering what the plans were

"Leah" Gem said "Yeah" Leah replied "Me, Jess, Mum and Em were wondering if you wanted to come shopping with us" Gem asked "Yeah of course that would be lovely, Mum, Grandma would you like to come" she asked "Yes, of course dear that would be lovely" Amanda said "Right well, we best go back to the villa and get ready then shall we" Gem said "Yes of course, well I shall go and get ready then babe, I'll see you later" Leah said "Of course I love you" I said as I gave her a kiss "Love you too" she said. 

I watched as she walked away back to the Villa I heard my phone ring.

Will, do I doubt she will get suspicious but we will give her a make over, she loves fashion, so no offence I don't think she is going to be thinking about you whilst we are shopping x

It wasn't long before I got a text from Gem saying that they had gone "Right lets get this sorted, Dad is everything in your room" I asked "Yeah it is son" he said, we walked towards his room. So our villa is a 7 bedroom Villa with a private bathroom and a private beach, the owner we are renting it from are a British couple so we asked permission to organise the proposal and they were more than happy to. We grabbed all of the things I needed.

*time skip*
Everything was set up, I was beyond nervous. I had just got a shower and got changed, Gem had texted me to say they were on the way back. I was waiting by the back doors the whole family were waiting down by the beach hiding. My heart was pounding out of my chest.

I wasn't waiting long until they all came in, Leah was last to walk in "You look beautiful" I said "Thank you, was in my element whilst we were shopping" she said as she kissed my cheek "I can imagine" I said "I got you some stuff too, I think Gem put it in our room" she said, she looked at my outfit "You look smart, where is everyone" she asked "They've gone for a walk, follow me" I said as I took her down and led her to where I was planning to propose.

Once we got there you could hear the faint background music which was love of my life by Harry Styles buy the instrumental version "Luke whats going on" she asked as she had a confused look on her face "Just follow me" I said. I walked her down the 'path' which was covered in rose petals and we stopped in front of the screen, I looked in the direction of where the family was to signal them to play the video I had created "What is this" Leah asked "Will you stop asking questions and just watch" I said to her 

The video had included pictures of us when we were younger up to now and some videos that our friends and family had took of us during the years, I looked at Leah who had tears in her eyes. The video had ended and I grabbed her hands and looked at her

"For the past 8 years I have loved you none stop. I have loved you even in your darkest days. When I was younger I never thought that I would ever be in love with someone who was like you. You are the most kind, caring, compassionate, beautiful women I have ever met. I have made loads of promises during our time and I am going to make some more. I promise to love you when your Endometriosis flares up and your crying on the bathroom floor in pain, I promise to support you in every decision you make. I promise to love you when your old and grey and I promise to love you for the rest of my life" I said as tears slowly fell down her face "I have one thing to ask you... Leah Cathrine Williamson will you marry me?" I asked as I pulled the ring out of my pocket "Yes of course, I love you"  she said as I stood up and kissed her and placed the ring on her finger. 

We spent the rest of the holiday making memories and relaxing as much as we could before we had to go back to football
