Arsenal and captain of the England womens football. Leah Williamson is a secretive person and doesn't allow much of her personal life to be known by the public.
After being out of football...
"Luke...luke....Lucas" Leah shouted "Yeah" I mumbled rolling over putting my hand on her stomach "we need to get up" she said as i opened my eyes and looked at her "can't we have five more minutes" I asked as i scooted further down the bed and kissed the bump "Lucas jr is very active today baby" i said "that's because his sexy father is saying morning... and the more you call him that the more i hate it" she said as she slowly rolled out of bed "you know pregnant you is so sexy" i said to her "what so you prefer me fat!" she exclaimed "what no babe... i just meant-" i said as she cut me off "You meant what" she said with a pissed off look on her face " you just look beautiful" i said nervously "So i'm ugly when i'm not pregnant" she shouted "nooo... your always beautiful" i said "Oh piss off... get out of bed and pack" she said as she left, i groaned knowing that i was in deep shit. I got out of bed quickly had a shower and got sorted and packed, leah had left her clothes out that she wanted packing. Other than being annoyed at me she's annoyed at the fact that her clothes don't fit her anymore, when her bump started to grow bigger the only thing that actually fit her was my Chelsea jumper. And god knows she won't wear that, so she resulted into buying more clothes so she can hide the bump as we haven't told the world yet that we are having a baby.
I had booked this weekend off as Leah, Steph, Lia and Kim have booked a lodge weekend away. Don't know why I've been invited not sure if anyone else's partners have been invited. Once I packed the bags I took them downstairs and left them by the door step. Leah was in the kitchen drinking her tea, I wrapped my arms around her waist with caution "get off" she said as she pulled away from me "we need to go or we will be late, were picking Kim and the rest up by the way" she said as she grabbed her phone of the counter and went to the car, i sighed knowing all i'd be getting was the silent treatment. I packed the bags in the boot and got into the car and headed to Kims as that is where the all the girls were meeting, once we got there Leah got out of the car and knocked on the door, i'd got out and opened the boot ready to put the bags in the car
"Good morning Luke, you ok" Kim asked "yeah fine" i said i grabbed her bag off her and put it in the boot, Leah is walking back to the car with Lia besides her "good morning Lia, you excited" I asked grabbing her bag off her "i am thanks for driving us" she said as she got in the back she sat next to Kim "Leah" I said but she ignored me by sitting in the back and shutting the door. Steph gave me her bag "Whats wrong with her" she whispered "I think I pissed her off this morning" I whispered back, I put her bag in the boot and shut it "so she's giving you the silent treatment then, you've got some grovelling to do" she said "don't i know it, your in the passenger seat with me" i said and rolled my eyes and got in the drivers seat, steph laughed and got into the passengers seat "So Lee lee, how long have you got left until our littlest gunner is born" Kim asked "2 months, we went to the doctors the other day and he said there could be a potential he could be born next month" she said with a smile as i looked at her in the mirror.
Leah's PoV "Ooooh exciting, have you got everything sorted" Lia asked "Nope, Luke was supposed to be getting it done this weekend but here he is" I said "Oooooh Luke not doing as he's told" Steph said and we laughed "I told you Leah there has been delays with the furniture, how can i do the babys room when we have no furniture" he argued " you could at least paint it" I said "well I asked you and you said to leave it white" he said "well i changed my mind" i said "when" he replied "the other day" i said "What colour" he asked "pale green" i said "I'll order the paint when we arrive at the lodge" he said.
*time skip*
Lucas PoV It annoyed me that she decided to change the colour at the last minute, because I planned for the decorators to come in and paint the room this weekend which we were keeping it neutral and then Amanda and David were going to build the furniture so when we came back the room would be ready and i'd surprise lee, it's too late to change anything now so if she isn't happy with it i'll paint it on a later date.
We were 10 minutes away and this was the most awkward drive ever, lee was obviously ignoring me and whenever she would speak to me she would be snappy, which didn't go unnoticed by the girls. "So when we arrive, ill put the bags in the rooms when you've chose them, then I can go to the shops and get some things if you'd like" I asked "Yeah that sounds perfect thanks Luke" Kim replied "Leah do you want anything specific" I asked "No thanks" she said, i rolled my eyes at the shortness as she is just being childish and i am not having this attitude the whole weekend.
Once we arrived at the Cabin, I checked us all in and the lady gave us the direction to where the cabin was, I drove the car to the cabin, it was the furthest one away from the other cabins so we had some privacy. I pulled up outside and opened the door as the girls were getting out of the car "You all go pick your rooms and i'll bring the bags in" i said as I watched Leah walk into the cabin. Mine and Leah's bags were the last ones to bring in so i put Steph's, Lia and Kims in their rooms. Lia and Steph were sharing, Kim had her own room, so that means i'm with Leah or depending on her mood it will be the couch or the floor. "Right does anyone want to come to the shops with me" I asked, hoping Leah would so we could talk "I'll come" Steph said putting her shoes on "does anyone want anything apart from stuff for dinner" I asked "just snacks I think" Lia said "Yeah i think thats it" Kim replied "ok we won't be long" I said as i walked to the door but giving a kiss on the cheek to Leah before leaving "Love you" I said hoping she'd say it back "love you too" she said with a smile.
We left the cabin and drove to tescos "what did you say to her to piss her off" Steph asked "I just said that pregnant you is sexy" i said "oh you didn't" Steph laughed "yeah and then i got an earful so anything i do she either ignores me or she's snappy, i'm not having her in this mood for the whole weekend" I said as i pulled in the car park "how are you going to get her forgive you" she asked "i'll buy her some flowers and chocolates" i said "sounds like it could go right or go incredibly wrong" she said "we will only find out" i smiled
Leah's PoV "Right pissy pants, what's wrong with you and luke" Kim asked "he just pissed me off this morning" i replied "well it must of been something bad cause, you are never pissed of at him like this" Lia said "he said that pregnant me is sexy" i sighed "and what did you reply with "so you prefer me fat" i said "oh you didn't leah" Kim said "yeah then he said that he just meant that i looked beautiful" i said "i dread to think what you said" Lia said "so i'm ugly when im not pregnant thanks" i sighed "oh you need to forgive him" kim said "i know but i feel like it's too far gone now, cause i've been a baby and been snappy with him and i'll forgive him when he apologieses" i said "christ your one stubborn bastard leah" Kim said "i know, i feel bad" i said as I sat on the couch with my hands in my bump "anyway, have you thought of any names for the baby" Kim asked "Well Luke is still continuing with Luke Jr" I laughed "No way" Lia laughed "Yeah so i said if he continues the less i like it" I said "Are you even considering it" Lia asked "nooo, I don't think so" I said "You know were all proud of you, being pregnant and rehab for your acl, it's been a tough few months" Kim said "I know well luckily, i was well ahead on schedule with rehab so by the time i couldn't really run or do any major things i was back on track, i just do light training now" I said "When do you think you'd return"Lia asked "well if this little one is born soon it really does depend, i think once he's born ill rest for a few weeks then get back into training then possibly back on the pitch when he is about 4 months maybe" I said "wow that's early, I know but it really does depend how the birth goes and everything" i said "how long is luke having off" Kim asked "Well, he said that he gets two weeks paid, but if i need him longer then he will" i said "he's a gooden isn't he" kim said "yeah he is" i reply "does this mean your postponing the wedding then" Lia asked "we think so yeah, we want the baby to be at least a year or a bit older before we tie the knot as we want him to be apart of the wedding" I said.
Lucas PoV Steph and I had just finished shopping and put the stuff in the boot of the car, I had grabbed Leah some roses and chocolates to apologise. "You excited to become a dad" Steph asked "I am, i think after the miscarriage there was some doubts that we weren't able to conceive again" i said "Well i'm sure that your baby boy would have had a brilliant older sibling" she said and I had tears in my eyes "thanks Steph, your a great friend to us" I said " am i your favourite Aussie" she asked "without a doubt" i laughed and pulled her in for a hug "come on lets get going" i said as we got into the car and drove away from the shop.
About 15 minutes later we arrived back at the lodge, once I parked the car we could see the girls laughing whilst watching the tv, Steph grabbed two bags and headed inside, I followed closely behind her with the others "We are back" Steph shouted whilst walking into the living room, I followed behind her putting the bags into the kitchen and heading back out to the car grabbing the flowers and chocolates and quickly put them in the bedroom without anyone noticing. "Leah can you come here for a minute" I shouted from the bedroom I sat on the edge waiting for Leah to come in "What's up" she asked as she walked in the bedroom, I grabbed the flowers and chocolates from behind my back and held them on my hand "what are these for" she asked "I got you these as an apology for what I said this morning, I shouldn't of said what I said in the way I said it and it made me realise that I hate when your angry with me and don't talk to me, so as I always do I thought i'd get you some flowers and your favourite chocolates" I said as I handed them to her "I should be the one apologising to you babe, I took it out of context and it wasn't until I told the girls what happened this morning they told me how ridiculous I was and that I should forgive you" she said "Should we just agree with each other" I suggested "Well if this is how your gonna apologies we best start setting up a florist" She laughed "Oh you never fail to make me laugh do you miss williamson" I said "I'm the light of your life mr owen" she said "that you are" I said as I put my hands on her bump and pulled her in for a kiss.
*2 days later*
After a lovely two days with Leah and the girls, we have returned home only this time Leah wasn't in a mood with me, I had received a text of Amanda that the bedroom was ready and that they are still at the house and brought bella with. I pulled up to the drive and put the car in park, I looked at Leah as we both got out of the car, I grabbed our bags and walked with Leah to the front door, once she unlocked the door we were greeted with bella bounding over too us "Oh bellaboo i have missed you" she said as bella sniffed round her, I dropped the bags to the floor and crouched down to pet her "Mum what are you doing here" Leah said and I looked up towards the pair "Your dad and I have been staying here for a while, just doing some things" She said "Some things" Leah questioned "Why don't we all go upstairs" I suggested, I grabbed hold of her hand as she followed me upstairs, we got to the babies room and even I hadn't seen how it turned out so this is a first for me "why are we outside the babies room" Leah asked "there is a surprise for you" I said "Luke come on, more surprises" she said "just open the door" I said as she rolled her eyes after a few seconds waiting for her to open the door with me, Amanda and David growing impatient she finally opened the door "Oh... my...god" she said as her hands covered her mouth and her eyes welled up

When I looked the room was just how i imagined "Amanda, David it's beautiful just how i imagined thank you " I said as I pulled Amanda in for a hug and then shook Davids hand "Mum, dad, I can't thank you enough" Leah said as all three hug "We wanted to do this for you both, you've made us so happy making us grandparents" David said "Your going to be the best granddad ever" Leah said "We shall leave you two for a minute" Amanda said as they both left the room, I pulled Leah in for a hug "I am so proud of you. It's been a tough year for you with your injury and the pregnancy I couldn't imagine doing what your doing and that just shows how amazing you are and your going to be a fantastic mother" I said giving her a kiss "It's been tough but I have had the most amazing people by my side and i could not be more thankful, getting to do this with you has been a dream and we would have done it the first time but our dream was cut short and our little Angel is up there looking down on us and their little brother, our baby boy has got a guardian angel for life" she said "I love you Leah Cathrine" I said "and I love you Lucas Michael"
